Hiya, Read my previous question if you want to know why I have sore lips. Is it ok to put savlon antiseptic cream on my lips - this isnt because they are dry (please dont suggest vaseline). On the box it says keep out of eyes and ears but can I use this on my lips?
ThanksSavlon cream on lips?
yeah i do that when mine get really dry. It looks bad though so dont leave the house like that!Savlon cream on lips?
no i tried before and it really hurt i use vaseline if you dont wanna then try blisteze
i dont think u can use savlon on ur lips
I sometimes get sore lips in the winter-they get really chapped. I'm not sure about savlon but sometimes I put a tiny bit of Palmer's cocoa butter formula (the thick cream version that comes in a squeezy tube) on my lips before I go to bed-this means you don't lick it off/ eat it, which I don't think would be too good for you! It does seem to work very well, better than anything I've used that's actually meant for your lips. And it's cheap-you can get it in Boots/ superdrug for, between 拢2-3 I think. Hope that helps! x
You would be much better off using either an eczema cream like double base. If you have to use Savalon please be very careful as it is not an ointmant/cream you should be ingesting (if you lick your lips alot then no),. Just be very careful what you do put on you lips, and anything new, test on the inside of your elbow 24 - 48 hors before you use it, to ensure you don't have a reaction.
hope this helps
No i wouldn't!!
Use vaseline, not savlon.
I would think you can, but it might make them even more sore!
There are loads of products for lips out there, im sure you will find one thats just right for you
i suggest you go down to your local chemist and buy a product called lip saver it comes in different flavours this will help moisturise your lips cracked and sore lips is due to not enough drink down you
What is 'lip salve' if it isn't for putting on ya lips hey bud?.....
Hi no not really if there is bruising under the lip and not in the lip then you can use it on the skin around the lip, but if you actaully put it inside your lip or on yourlips you might have a worse reaction to it. If inside you lips is sore, why do you get a cream for mouth ulcers, like anbsol or boots own mouth gel, as it contains an ingredient which numbs the area so it will help with the pain for a while. Other that that there is nothing else you can put on it.
Just in future dont let you boyfried bite you lol

My virgina itch on the inside of my lips what over the counter cream can i use?
If you just got done with antibiotics, or if you wear tight pants, it could be a yeast infection; Monistat or another store brand of yeast infection medicine will cure it. You can try Vagisil for itch but if it doesn't relieve your problem, you'll need to visit your doctor for a prescription for STD.My virgina itch on the inside of my lips what over the counter cream can i use?

Try some type of natural cream, which you can even make yourself if you have the time, containing aloe vera gel, shea butter, and cocoa butter. Those are some of the best moisturizers. Drink plenty of water throughout your days and avoid salt since salt dehydrates your cells.
Get the blue Blistex tube. The one with extra moisture for very dry / chapped lips should do the trick.myspace layouts

Which cream is best for mouth ulcers on lips ?
Which cream is best for mouth ulcers on lips ?
I am living in indiaWhich cream is best for mouth ulcers on lips ?
I like Dexaltin. It is more of a paste that helps to form a protective layer on the ulcer so it doesnt hurt. Heals faster too. For a gel, I use Gengigel. Expensive, but it makes you feel much better.

Why do i get spots on my upper lip when i wax/use hair removal creams? ?
..and how do i prevent/get rid of?Why do i get spots on my upper lip when i wax/use hair removal creams? ?
Hi its because the cream/wax burns your skin and leave little blisters,it is known to do this on people with sensitive skin, I just dont bother with them, I know my auntie shaves everday and you can never tell. so maybe shaving will be the best option despite the hair will grow quicker its better than setting up a irritation. Why do i get spots on my upper lip when i wax/use hair removal creams? ?
yeah that happened to me i got my eyebrows/lip waxed but it only happens becuase the hot wax kinda just rips the hair right outta your skin so yep that would probably b it. lol and its not if youre used to it or not so yeah................lol oh and the lady that does it says if it brsn dab milk on it .
because maybe you are allergic to the creams. hair removal creams disolve the hair, so the hair grows as fast as if you use a razor.
Because you are probably allergic to the chemcal agents in these products ... try using a little cold cream or vaseline or antiseptice cream afterwards...

yeah i have the same problem :( try vaseline or carmex. Dry lips is usually a sign of dehydration, he should drink more water everyday also.
Hi socorro,
have you tried Blistex intensive moisture? I got some yesterday and it is amazing! You can get it from ant chemist.
Hope it helps.

You are going to want to treat the core problem...usually dry lips show that the body is not getting enough fluids...try getting your son to drink more water...sounds like he is dehydrated...I
try Carmex, that always works for me. Get him to drink more water and a lot less tea, coffee or fizzy drinks as they dehydrate further
He's probably dehydrated. Dry chapped lips are a sign of dehydration.

The creams to remove hair on legs and underarm, is it okay if i use it to remove my upper lip hair?
No. You don't want to get that stuff anywhere near your mouth. They have special, safer products for your upper lip. I suggest waxing or bleaching. Good luckThe creams to remove hair on legs and underarm, is it okay if i use it to remove my upper lip hair?

I wouldnt recommend using it on your face. There are hair removing creams especially facial hair. I personally prefer to bleach.
I strongly recommend against it. You don't want to get that stuff anywhere near sensitive/delicate parts of your body, and especially away from open cuts and orifices (like your mouth).
I don't know if such a cream exists, but maybe it's possible to very carefully wax, or just use tweezers.
No you shouldn't use depilatory creams for upper lips. Try waxing, tweezing or threading.
supposedly you should use gentler creams for your face...the ones for your body hair may burn your face...go to chemist and check it out...
It would work but might be a little harsh for your upper lip. Best get a cream specifically formulated for facial skin.

Zovirax is a good one! have to put it on in the very early stages - soon as you feel a tingle!
The best product I have ever used on my dry lips is Carmex. It comes in a jar, stick or a tube, and can be original or cherry flavour too.
It contains menthol, camphor, and phenol (an anesthetic).
This makes your lips tingle, a sure sign its working.
Trust me - it is BRILLIANT

Which is best: waxing, bleaching, shaving, or creams for upper lip hair?
I have semi-sensitive skin and I don't have a MOUSTACHE! My upper lip hair is just dark and a little noticableWhich is best: waxing, bleaching, shaving, or creams for upper lip hair?
I have tried many products to bleach to no avail. But one product I swear by is Sally Hansen Extra strength (for sensitive skin) Hair remover. You apply it and only leave on for a couple minutes and wipe off with a tissue or cloth. It also comes with collagen and vitamen E lotion to apply afterwards.Which is best: waxing, bleaching, shaving, or creams for upper lip hair?
I think if you have alot of hair waxing is the best, bleaching for a small amount of fine hair, if you must. Absolutely no shaving or hair creams, you can cause skin damage with these two procedures!
if it's just kinda dark I would just bleach it, if its really noticable I would wax it!
Waxing is best because it's quick and easy
waxing for sure
don't ask how I know
My hair was way too dark I used bleaching and creams for a while but then when I had the money I had electrolysis
I thread mine. It's fast, easy, portable (just a thread), cheap as hell, no stickiness, no redness, etc.
If not that, then wax (what I did before).

Is hydrocortisone cream 1% good for cracked lips?
It depends upon why you have cracked lips. If the cracking is due to an inflammation, such as eczema from an allergy to lipstick, then a hydrocortisone ointment would be appropriate. On the other hand, if it's simply due to having licked your lips too much (and consequently drying them out), then a lip balm with a good moisturizer in it would be good. Obviously, if the lips don't heal up promptly, then they should be looked at by your dermatologist to make sure that it's nothing more serious (such as actinic cheilitis)Is hydrocortisone cream 1% good for cracked lips?
That stuff is used for eczema and coniditons like that! It is far to strong for lips, lips are sensitive, Use vasaline as it seals in mostuire of a chapstick! Is hydrocortisone cream 1% good for cracked lips?
hydrocortisone is an anti-itch cream, so it wouldn't be the best thing to use on cracked lips. Instead try using a lip balm like carmex.

What lip balms and lip creams restore the natural color to the lips?
Well I hate my lips because they are so dark and people ask do i smoke and i never smoked a cigarette ever! Then sometimes when i have a cold or fever i get sore bumps on my lips and they burse and leave behind even darker spots on my lips. I've tried getting rid of them but they didn't go. First time i got one it left behind a pink sore it was small though. Then just a week ago I got another it was a bump at first then i bust it and it leave a dark circle around the red part.
oh not to mention that sometimes when i get nervous i tend to bite my lips and pick at them when they are dry inside and out. (idk y)

How to get rid of dark lips without using any cream or paste. need natural sources. suggest.?
I have a nice brown shade skin. I am very happy with the color of the skin. My only concern in my lips. They are very dark. I don't smoke. Still people think that my lips are dark because i smoke. can you guide me to make the lips look natural and healthier. I dont want any cream or paste to apply on my skin. Just want any natural remedy. I had heard that some fruits can help the lips to get healthy and lively.

Should i wax my lip? or should i use bleach? or use a cream? what!?
well since a few months ago, ive been noticeing hair appear darker above my lip. i thought it was ok, since if you got close to me you could only see it. but then people at school started making fun bout it. so now im really self consious about it. its just some dark peach fuzz that is a liitle noticable. should i consider bleaching? or waxing? or using a cream? im only 12 and im afraid to do anything about it cuz it might harm my skin. does bleaching harm skin or does the hair removing cream harm the skin? and does waxing make it grow back thicker and how many times do you have to do it? plzz help!Should i wax my lip? or should i use bleach? or use a cream? what!?
For now, try bleaching. If it's too light and equally noticeable as your dark hair, consider waxing. I would go to a professional the first time you wax and maybe get some pointers from the stylist who waxes you in case you do decide to do it at home. I'm not sure how cream will work on your face but I used the cream on my legs once and it didn't help. You have to be careful with the cream because it can chemically burn your skin. If you do wax, it will hurt the first few times but eventually it stops hurting and it only appears to grow back darker and thicker because it is all growing at the same time. If you have any more questions, let me know and I'll try to help.Should i wax my lip? or should i use bleach? or use a cream? what!?
wax it or get threading done...it will take off the hair frm the roots..for a longer time then buy using a cream..
dont use a cream as it does not take the hair out frm its roots..
bleaching will just make them white ..it will be seen in light and it wont look good..
Don't wax at home..I did and it made me break out so bad. And i don't usually break out..it was so bad..the pimples would go and come right back in that area right under the nose..you should just tweeze. Or go get it done professionally. But tweezing may hurt..good luck.
I have the same problem, and I'm 5 years older than you... I've been waxing and threading since I was your age, and the hairs have gotten less and less. But the fuzz is still there. For me, bleaching only made it more noticable, but that's because I have tan skin. If you are fair, bleaching would probably be best. Just don't bleach too often because too much chemicals on your face isn't good.
Whatever you do, DON'T tweeze your upperlip. It will only make the hairs come back thicker, and you will get in-grown hairs. In-grown hairs are hairs that are very thick, but don't come above the skin... so you can't get rid of them!
wax
In the beauty business 26 years. Waxing is the way to go.
Will not grown in thicker but rather thinner. Will not permanently remove the hair. When you get a haircut get facial wax (lip). Products make a difference. Do it professionally, it will be worth it. For permanent go lazer.
I think waxing is better. Sometimes when it is bleached the blonde lip hair is noticeable. Yeah it stings, but after that it's okay.
wax!!!!
Waxing is good but heard it also take off some of your skin which may lead to zits sooo try threading Good luck!

Nair face cream hair removal for upper lips - does it work?
I have used Nair cream for hands earlier., it worked and no burning sensation....but when hair starts growing back, the cream doesnt remove it unless it grows little longer....
If this is going to be the case with upper lip..i guess it looks ugly...Did anybody use it for upper lip and found it helpful.....
I dont mind using it every 10 days and even if it smells bad...Nair face cream hair removal for upper lips - does it work?
ppl say it doesnt cuz theyer suppose to leave it on like for 10 min or so but it does but i reccomend waxing trust its wayyyyyy betterNair face cream hair removal for upper lips - does it work?
yepppp
it works for upper lips
but you might want to find a sensitive skin or scented version if you need it
the upper lip hairs will ALWAYS be thin and light colored if they are already
they wont grow in thicker or darker, mine actually grew in thinner and lighter
good luck, though
=)
plus, waxing is an option
go to any regular salon and just ask if they have facial waxing
its usually only like five dollars and it works for a couple weeks
=)
It DOES NOT WORK.
I would tell you the truth if it did obviously, but I REALLY don't recommend it. I have tried it over and over and every time I use it it gets some (barely any) away and I am left with so much still on there that I had before.
It also hurts getting it off because you have to like pull it off with a tissue and trying to get it all is hard and uses up too many tissues.
Yes, it reaks. I hate the smell, and it's right under your nose.
No matter how often you do it, it won't get the job done.
I really do suggest getting it waxed. It's the fastest, easiest way to get rid of it. Good luck!
i did, i bought it a few weeks ago actually, i didn't like the sally brand, because it smelled terrible and did not work very well at all. but the nair stuff works wonders!
just pluck it i mean seriously..how much lip hair can you possibly have? just pluck it and move on with your life..
No getting waxed really is the best way to go. Nair works just like shaving.

What is the best product to use to make lips nice and plump, cream or injections??
Does anyone know the cost of fillers and the names of good lip ';potions';??What is the best product to use to make lips nice and plump, cream or injections??
I LOVE Victoria's Secret Lip Plumper $18.......fabulous and works wonders....just think rosy glossy plump lips......ohh la la
Forget the injections.....think Lisa Rhiner nasty lopsided filler lips...yuckWhat is the best product to use to make lips nice and plump, cream or injections??
Jessica Simpson Dessert lip gloss in Banana Slplit is a lip plumper %26amp; it tastes really good.

If you use lip-gloss, or glossy lip-stick.... it makes anyones lips look plumper!
If you're a white girl WHY in God's name would you even WANT to pump up your lips and if you're a Black girl, why would it even be necessary?
Use a cream, that way if you don't like it you can wipe it off and just stop using it . If you get an injection you are going to have to wait for the stuff to wear off, depending on what type of filler you use.
Do the injection. The cremes are rather ineffective and do not last as long. Be certain, howvver, that you have the procedure done by a board certified cosmetologist.
What a waste of money! Maybe talk back to your Dad and he will help you find the cheapest way to a fat lip!

My lips get really red and swell every time I brush my teeth and shave with shaving cream ?
I use chap stick to try to alleviate the swelling, but they just stay red and I feel them very uncomfortable. It must be some ingredient in both the shaving cream and toothpaste that I am allergic or something, but how can I know? My lips get really red and swell every time I brush my teeth and shave with shaving cream ?
Everytime I use Crest toothpaste my lips swell awful! Try something really bland like Arm and Hammer baking soda toothpaste or Aim for a bit and see if that helps. With the shaving you may need to let your pores open up more before you shave, use hot water or a steamy shower a few moments longer then what you have, also try a new razor blade and cream for sensitive skin.
Also, are you using any facial moisturizer? or aftershave? those might be culprits too. Change one thing at a time and see whats bothering your senses. Hope this helps! My lips get really red and swell every time I brush my teeth and shave with shaving cream ?
Sounds like you might be allergic. Check the ingredients on both and see if they contain any of the same thing. Then go try to find toothpaste and shaving cream that do not have those chemicals if that is at all possible. They do make things like that in organic, maybe you should try them. Not sure where you get them though or the price but if you need it you need it. You can't go around with swollen lips.
Many shaving creams contain an ingredient called lanolin. A large number of people are allergic to it. You could try to use a lanolin-free brand of shaving cream or gel.

Has anyone ever used one of those lip plump creams?Which one and did it work?
i tried a few, they are not worth the money you spend on them. A couple of brands I tried did make my lips appear to be swollen, but they seem to have done that by making them so chapped that the skin all peeled off afterward. I dont recommend wasting your money. make your lips appear larger by using a good lipliner pencil before applying your lipstick.Has anyone ever used one of those lip plump creams?Which one and did it work?
I've tried a couple of these products with friends of mine who have bought them, just to see what they did for the heck of it. (I've got big lips as it is, and it's not as good as one would think-I feel like a clown whenever I wear any lipcolor too far from my lip's natural one.) They do succeed in giving you a slight swollen look temporarily, but I couldn't get past the stinging sensation they caused. I wouldn't use them if I were you.Has anyone ever used one of those lip plump creams?Which one and did it work?
i have used all of them, including bambini which is supposed to be the best. most of them succeeded in making my lips look bloated, rather that 'swollen with passion' or something. i was asked once if a bee stung my mouth. theyre not worth it. small lips make you look French, and we all know the french are more sexy right??
i wouldnt use that stuff if i was you , if it goes rong .... nasty things could happen m and then u wont have no lips at all lol
my lips are naturally big i guess.... ppl tell me they are.... but if you've lived with them you might feel they are too big so i think you could just live with what you have.... or some ppl use lipliner and then plump their lips with anything that could work or ever regular lipstick if you are good at it....myspace layouts

Please help! What are these black dots on my upper lip after Nair hair removal cream? Will they go away?
I used the face cream just on upper lip area for first time about 8 months ago, it worked fine with no bad reaction afterwards. I used it for the second time about 4 weeks ago, it seemed fine again but i plucked a few hairs out with tweezers the other day and there are these black dots now, on my upper lip area. I feel like crying. Please help. Surely if it was the cream, the dots would have appeared straight away? Can i get rid of these dots ? Will they fade? Any advice please? Please help! Help! How do you prevent scabbing on your upper lip after using a depilatory cream?
I just used a depilatory creme on my upper lip 30 minutes ago, and while the creme was on my face, it didn't hurt, but after I wiped it off with a damp cloth, it started turning red and felt irritated. Is this normal? And what should I use to prevent it from leaving a huge scab on my face? I put aloe vera gel (it's all I have in my med.cabinet atm)on the area, and it helped to calm down the burn, but I'm not sure if it'll prevent scabbing.Help! How do you prevent scabbing on your upper lip after using a depilatory cream?
Ouch! No that feeling is not normal. Always do a patch test before putting anything on your face. If you did do this, you may have left the product on too long. I have burned my legs with depilatory creams before by doing just that. You are going to need to moisturize a good deal to avoid scabbing much as well as to allow it to heal faster. The aloe was a smart move but you'll need something richer like phisoderm facial moisturizer or eucerin. Try to avoid regular face moisturizers as they may have too much alcohol and may make your skin burn and become more irritated. You need something soothing for sensitive skin like the moisturizers I mentioned above or possibly something for burns-that may help you heal quicker. Good Luck %26amp; in the future consider waxing, thats what I do and it doesn't hurt half as much as you think and feels a lot better then that burning feeling from the cream. It grows back slower %26amp; softer too!Help! How do you prevent scabbing on your upper lip after using a depilatory cream?
This should not happen! It may get red and irritated but I doubt it will make a scab. In any case, don't use the depilatory any more, you are obviously sensitive to it. Try waxing instead.
For now, aloe vera should work. Keep on applying it as necessary. Also take some aspirin or ibuprofen to minimize swelling and pain.

~ HAIR REMOVAL METHODS ~
- - - Permanent Hair Removal - - -
* Electrolysis - Is the practice of electrical epilation to permanently remove human hair. The practitioner slides a hair-thin metal probe into each hair follicle. Proper insertion does not puncture the skin. Electricity is delivered to the follicle through the probe, which causes localized damage to the areas that generate hairs, either through the formation of caustic lye (galvanic method) or by overheating (thermolysis method).
- - - Permanent Hair Reduction - - -
* Laser - The primary principle behind laser hair removal is selective photothermolysis. Lasers can cause localized damage by selectively heating dark target matter in the area that causes hair growth while not heating the rest of the skin. (Does not permanently remove all hair, but does reduce the amount of visible hair).
* Flashlamp - The focused, broad spectrum light is applied to the surface of the skin by way of either a hand-held wand, or by an articulated arm. The intense light travels through the tissue of the skin until it strikes the hair shafts or the bulb (root) of the hair. The bulb is usually where the highest concentration of melanin is located, as opposed to the rest of the hair shaft. When the light strikes the dark-colored melanin, the light is converted to heat energy. The bulb and most of the hair shaft is instantly vaporized. The intense heat radiated by the hair also destroys the hair-producing papilla or the entire hair follicle. It is also claimed that direct light-heat conversion occurs directly in the darker colored capillaries that bring nourishing blood to the follicle. (Also called Intense Pulsed Light or IPL).
* EpiLight - As Above. (An Intense Pulsed Light device).
- - - Lasting Hair Inhibition - - -
* Prescription oral medications.
* A new method of epilation is to use enzymes that inhibit the development of new hair cells. Hair growth will become less and less until it finally stops, normal depilation/epilation will be performed during that time. Products include the prescription drug Vaniqa (active ingredient eflornithine hydrochloride inhibiting the enzyme ornithine decarboxylase).
(Requires continuous use for many).
- - - Temporary - - -
';Depilation'; lasting several hours to several days can be achieved by:
* Shaving - Shaving is the removal of body hair (depilation), using a sharp blade known as a razor or with any other kind of bladed implement, to slice it down to the level of the skin. (Manually or with electric shavers).
* Depilatories - Is a cosmetic preparation used to remove the hair from the skin on the human body. (Creams or ';shaving powders'; which chemically dissolve hair).
* Friction (Rough surfaces used to buff away hair).
';Epilation'; lasting several days to several weeks can be achieved by:
* Plucking - Describes the process of removing hair, animal hair, by mechanically pulling the item from the owner's body. (Hairs are plucked, or pulled out, with tweezers or with fingers).
* Waxing - Is a temporary method of hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for three to eight weeks. Waxing is accomplished by spreading a wax combination thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax along with the hair and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth. Another method of waxing involves hot wax, a soft wax directly applied to the skin. The wax then hardens when it cools, thus allowing the easy removal by a therapist without the aid of cloths. (A hot or cold layer is applied and then removed with porous strips).
* Sugaring - (Also known as 'Persian waxing') is a method of hair removal that has been in use for thousands of years. The process is similar to waxing, though there are a few differences in the two. Sugaring is supposed to be less painful because it only sticks to the hair (wax will also attach to the skin). Since it is made out of natural ingredients, it is supposed to be less harmful than wax, as well; however, ';natural'; does not necessarily mean ';safe';. Though the process and the materials usually leaves a sticky mess, sugar is soluble in water and therefore sugaring involves a relatively easy cleanup with warm water. (Similar to waxing, but with a sticky paste).
* Threading - Is an ancient method of hair removal that is still used in parts of the Middle and Far East. Thin, twisted cotton threads are rolled over untidy hairlines, mustaches and so on, plucking the offending hair. (Also called fatlah or khite, in which a twisted thread catches hairs as it is rolled across the skin).
* Epilators - Is an electrical device used to remove hair by mechanically grasping multiple hairs simultaneously and pulling them out. (Devices that rapidly grasp hairs and pull them out by the root).Does any woman have any advise on facial hair? especially on the upper lip. Creams and waxes burn my skin?
If you have the money for it, I'd suggest electrolosis. or lazer removal.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/laser-h鈥?/a>
Check your local phone book for a local cosmetic surgeon to help you. It really should not be more than a thousand dollars. If you want to remove the unwanted hair forever, you won't mind spending the money.
Cheers

FIRST: IGNORE THESE @SSHOLES THAT MAKE SMART@SS COMMENTS!
Second: try bleaching with lemon juice or peroxide made for head hair (the whitest blonde you can find)
If the upper lip hair is too long, trim w/scissors AFTER you've bleached.
Try, also, the Sally Hansen products for bleaching out facial hair. There's a really gentle formula designed for sensitive skin. I use it and get great results as long as I dont leave it on for the total recommended time in the instructions.
Start with 1/3 or 1/2 the recommended time, or you may blister.
If the hair is dark then try laser treatment. If it's light, then electrolysis is the only answer. Unfortunately both will hurt on the upper lip, as it is a very sensitive area.
It's hormonal.
Most women will acquire some moustache growth at some point in their life, especially after age 30, but many from early teens.
If there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Most guys are OK about women with a slight moustache.
If you do decide you have to do something, then be very careful, because there's a lot of wrong ';information'; around.
Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of
1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many
2) your body producing high levels of testosterone
The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.
Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.
As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that
* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.
* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.
* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.
* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.
Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.
I agree that shaving is not a desirable option, not only because of the upkeep/stubble factor, but your skin is very sensitive so you would probably get some irritation from it anyhow. I would advise getting a consultation for laser hair removal. The price has dropped significantly in the last few years, making it very affordable for everybody.
Good luck!

My friend uses a cream bleach to lighten the hair. She has sensitive skin too, and this works for her.I think it's called Jolene.

- - - Lasting Hair Inhibition - - -
* Prescription oral medications.

Which is better.. hair removal (cream, wax) or bleach it (for lip mustache)?
Wax, unless you use retin A, accutane, or some other skin thinning meds.
Depilitory cream (nair) is very harsh on the skin. Probably bleach is, as well.
When you use the depilitory cream, it disolves the hair down to just under the surface. The root is still there so the hair will grow back sooner and will have a blunt tip, which may cause it to feel coarser. Waxing removes the hair by the root, so when the new hair grows back in a few weeks, it has a tapered tip, and does not feel any coarser than it's predecessor.
Threading is another way to go. It also gets the hair out by the roots, but without pulling on the skin. This makes it appropriate for people on the aforementioned meds.Which is better.. hair removal (cream, wax) or bleach it (for lip mustache)?
Don't use bleach - that never looks quite natural. It is fine to remove hair - it's NOT going to grow back thicker and darker.Which is better.. hair removal (cream, wax) or bleach it (for lip mustache)?
Go to a beautician. Waxing, bleach %26amp; removal creams can be quite tough on facial skin %26amp; it's best to get checked first, in case you burn your skin.
cream,wax.
well ive never used either, but bleaching would probably be better b/c cream or wax could irritate your skin and give you a rash, which wouldn't be very fun.
wax...lasts longer and smoother....i guess...i mean not like i have it, ya know
i dont know about the wax but if you use the hair remover cream like nair for lips.... omg!! it will grow back black and stiff... like a mans 6oclock shadow!! i would not go there!
if you have fine, wispy hairs, bleach should work fine, but if the hairs are thick, use a depilatory(removal cream)-and don't worry-the hairs will not grow back black and stiff ';like a man's';. they might be darker but they will still be soft woman hair.
i dont like the sound of bleach.
you might as well take it off.

Will depilatory creams lighten upper lip like waxing?
i know that when you rip off the wax it also rips off the tan skin cells on your lip, so would a depilatory cream lighten the upper lip too? like if it exfoliates, would it exfoliate the tan skin? Will depilatory creams lighten upper lip like waxing?

i am 13 years old and wondering if i should use it. mum bought it for me thinking that thats what i meant by bleach and i am just worried if ill have a shadow once its removed and if once it starts coming back will it come back thicker or darker?
how often will i have to do this?
if i do this tonight will it be red tomorrow?
oh and its a cream that u apply to the hair u want to remove and then wen u take it off the hair comes off too. it is for my upper lip.
++ i no i already posted this question but id like to no more about the results.Upper lip hair? nair hsir removal cream.?
Its not advisable to use hair removal creams. try waxing
or make honey and lemon paste and apply .Upper lip hair? nair hsir removal cream.?
dont use these chemicals. go for threading, that is the safest.
Hey Child plzz don't use a hair removal cream at such an early age the results would be disastrous . Bleaching can be done but the aftermath of removing facial hair with a cream is disastrous . So just use what ur mamma brought for you %26amp; Good Luck !! The hair that comes after using a cream are always thick %26amp; looks like weird mustaches so bleaching is very safer %26amp; smarter .myspace layouts

You can the end balls at any tattoo/piercing parlour in your local area or go to either http://piercedfish.com/ or www.bodycandy.com. I recommend pierced fish because they have lots of different styles %26amp; quality metals. Also you can buy Bio Oil from Walmart it should be in the section where they have scar creams like neosporin %26amp; etc. Walmart usually sells Bio Oil for $11-$13. Its mostly used to help stretch marks %26amp; help fade away other scars.
Bio oil can be used for stretch marks and scars and u can buy it at CVS

I have a lip infection.. doctor gave me antibiotic cream??
should i clean it and what with???I have a lip infection.. doctor gave me antibiotic cream??
You shouldn't have to do anything but use the cream. It should work within a few days. Was it Fusidin?
No kissing for you for a few days then!!!I have a lip infection.. doctor gave me antibiotic cream??
inner lip or outer lip?, soap and water is fine, or you could try salt water, this works well if you can stand it
rn-darla
You can use boiled water from kettle, as long as you leave it cool down slightly firstly.
If there is pus, try to remove it gently with a wet cotton swab. If it doesn't come off, try to apply some cream first and let it on for a while, the crust underneath will become moist, and cleaning will get easier.
There is a tremendous amount of bacteria in the mouth. Salt water swishes will help or peroxide swishes periodically will help. There is also cankor sore medication that will help keep the bacteria down.

I just used hair removal cream for my upper lip and it burns?
i just got hair removal cream the brand is Sally Hansen
I put it on the 1st time i was fine didn't feel a thing
The I put it on a 2nd time because it didn't come off completely. It was still ok.
Then the 3rd time it burned. I took if off 3 minutes later (i'm suppose to do that everytime)
Now it burns! My upper lip is red. and when i strech it it hurts a little. I put ice on it it reduced the burning a little but its still red and it urn wen i strech it.
And i don't know should I use any cream because it says
DO NOT use an soaps or any soaps or astringents for 2 hours before or after treatment.
And i put the cream over SOME of my acne. If i touch my upper lip its smooth, no hair, and its normalI just used hair removal cream for my upper lip and it burns?
It sounds like you may have given yourself a chemical burn from too much repeated use of the product. If you haven't already, thoroughly wash the area to make sure there is no residual hair remover in your pores, then if you have some Bacitracin ointment, apply it as soon as you can and put it on after washing your face each day until it starts feeling better. You can use Neosporin, but Bacitracin is better. You can get it over the counter at any pharmacy.
Hopefully your burn isn't serious...if it is, there may be some scabbing later on while it heals.
If I were you, I would avoid using hair removal products on the face altogether. Your skin may just be too sensitive for it, even the facial formula.I just used hair removal cream for my upper lip and it burns?
That's really normal if you use it 3 times in a row...
Just use it once, then if there are any leftover hairs just pluck them. Also, try not to get the cream to close to your lip because it will burn the skin on your lip, and that will irritate your upper lip skin. That's probably why it's all red, beside the fact you put it on three times.
Use nothing except cool washcloth . If it is red and unsightly in the AM, call your Dr. Even on Sun. there should be someone on call who could order a cream.; or a walk-in clinic . If it's bad don't wait untill Mon. I t happened to me. If it were me, I would take aleve or motrin for inflammation, but I can't advise that for you.
Im not sure exactly which one you are using and the directions on it, but most tell you do not reapply after the first time and to wait a few days to a week before applying again. I would keep a cool cloth on it and maybe apply some burn cream, if it really hurts and concerns you then consult your doctor.
Unless it specifically says it's for the face, you should NOT have put hair removal creme on your face. Read the bottle, it probably tells you that somewhere.
This is probably why you have acne, quit putting chemicals on your face. Your skin / tissue is an organ, living. All those chemicals soak into your skin and cause reactions. Look for some natural products from a health store.
That happened to me once, and all you need to do is dab it with water for a little while until it cools down, apply lotion (facial!), anddd if it still burns, haha. sorry.
you might of just had a reaction to it. wet a washcloth with cool water and just hold it there for a little while. it should be fine.
clean your lip with rubbing alcohol, on prefferably, hydrogen peroxide. then let it dry and put lotion on it.
you now have a chemical burn.
That happens with most hair removal cream.
you should apply Vaseline or a baby cream to the spot.
I hope this helps
Cheers
don't use it anymore. don't use hair removal cream on your upper lip i tried it once and the hair grew back reallllyyy fast. get it waxed or bleach it.
Where's the question?
It also burns when you use it on your pubes.
its normal. it will be back to normal by tommorow. If not, see your doctor.
I think you should do what you are doing but only do it if you REALLY need it so it doesn't burn as much.
you get ******
I think it's normal. It should go away soon. However, I don't suggest using hair removal cream for your upper lip. You should use wax, because it looks better, lasts a lot longer and you don't get as much irritation. Besides, leaving the root, your hair might get thicker after a few times, which isn't great. And don't go for cheap brands. Buy something by Veet. It's the best brand I know and it's worth it because products for a small area like the upper lip last forever.
I recommend you apply lip balm and no other cream for other products might make it burn even more.
And don't rub it with alcohol, as someone suggested. Those boys are trying to be funny.
Ha-ha i wouldn't have applied it so many times but since you have i think that your skin might have had a reaction to the chemicals in the bottle and considering you practically burned the skin on your upper lip.
When i first tried this too (i only applied it once) my upper lip starting burning and it turned very red. I just ran cold water on it for a while and put some Vaseline on it and in the morning put some Neosporin on it as well.
I would next time try a razor or waxing. I really don't like using the hair removal cream.

I just used a delipitory cream on my upper lip and now it burns A LOT!!!?
i think i left it on too long, so now it burns a lot. should i put oil on it? my sister says neospporin, so i will try that, but still, whats the best thing? and it needs to heal within like 12 hours...i have school and a dental appt. tomorrow! cold feels good on it, but is that really ok for it? thanks!!!!I just used a delipitory cream on my upper lip and now it burns A LOT!!!?
Keep Neosporin on the area and make sure to keep your hands washed and to touch the area as little as possible. When you clean your skin tonight, use a gentle cleanser, such as Cetaphil or any other gentle cleanser, and make sure you keep the area moist. If there are any areas of broken skin, apply Neosporin followed by your heavist moisturizer or a thin layer of vaseline.
Think of it this way: when the skin is injured and broken, it forms a scab, often times when scabs finally fall away there are areas of lighter or darker pigmentation. If we block the scab from ever forming, allowing healing from the inside out, we reduce the chances of any discoloration to the skin.
Chances are you haven't broken the skin, it's just irritated. Just put on Neosporin, some aloe if you have it and you should be fine tomorrow.
Hope you found this helpful,
LRI just used a delipitory cream on my upper lip and now it burns A LOT!!!?
No oil! It's going to lock out oxygen if you do that, and it needs to heal. Don't mess with it too much or it will get red and puffy. It's just the pores have been exposed and they're not used to it. If it already is puffy, you can use a cold compress tonight, but leave it alone while you sleep.
Do what your sister said to do and then after a while if it was swelled up the swelling will go away , and then put an ice pack on it or sjust like two pieces of ice.
its just irriitated, try waxing next time just dont do anything because it will irritate it more
Hey! At first i had no idea wat in the world you were talking about because you spelled it wrong but i got it... lol... its really depilatory... but that was close enough. Well i am still not so sure what it is... if its like special bleach for your body hair than it's supposed to feel that way. It has to like prickle and sting a bit... but if what im thinking of is not wat your talking about then idk :)
that happened to me before too. cold is good for it. neosporin is good because it helps prevent infection. it will probably be pink in the areas where u put the cream. use some cover up make up if it shows a lot. no biggie. just leave that area alone now. let it heal

It has to like prickle and sting a bit... but if what im thinking of is not wat your talking about then idk :)
that happened to me before too. cold is good for it. neosporin is good because it helps prevent infection. it will probably be pink in the areas where u put the cream. use some cover up make up if it shows a lot. no biggie. just leave that area alone now. let it heal
I used hair removal cream for my upper lip and it is red?
Okay so last night i used hair removal on my upper lip at like 12 at night..
and i left it on for ONE minute and it started to burn and then like 30mn later it was red..
next day:
still red and burns a lil..
I NEED TO GET RID OF THIS BY 2 O CLOCK!!!
pleasepleaseplease help me, ive had vaseline on it for a while now..
anything else to do?
PS DONT SAY NEVER USE IT AGAIN YES I AM NEVER GOING TO DO IT AGAIN..I used hair removal cream for my upper lip and it is red?
you seem to be allergic to the cream. Cortizon works fast, 1/2% strength would be fine. you get them in CVS or other drug stores.
For future Check if you want to try threading method which is simmilar to wax like outcome.
good luck!I used hair removal cream for my upper lip and it is red?
it should go away.
try ice.
OH NO!
Well ice it - right now!
Aloe vera is a soothing gel - put that on.
And then at 2pm (very last minute) put on make up - but not just there - too obvious, all over your face to hide it. Really feel for you, next time bleach or wax - that cream is toxic x
Any type of Antiseptic cream.
BEEN THERE!!!
I use ice...rub it with a napkin and it will eventually go...
It sounds like your skin is sensitive to the hair removal cream. Take the vaseline off, it's not going to help, but try not to rub too much when you're taking it off (it will make the redness worse) and try to put something soothing like aloe vera on it.
Also, you can try taking an antihistamine to calm the reaction or try putting ice (wrapped in a towel or something don't put the ice cube directly on your skin) to constrict the blood vessels and reduce the redness

What is the best non-surgical procedure for quite deep lines round the lips or cream/lotions to use?
Every time a new advert comes out I spend money on new cream and lotions but nothing works. I.m an ex smoker and I look like E.T round the mouth.Any help PLEASEWhat is the best non-surgical procedure for quite deep lines round the lips or cream/lotions to use?
If you have money to spend at a doctor's, I would suggest a product called Restylane. I have used it myself, and its awesome. Here's a link: http://www.restylaneusa.com/whyrest.asp
Start there and see the whole site. The money you're spending might be better used at an esthtician's or a plastice surgeon's - they do these procedures.
Check out this site, too:http://www.drlacombe.com/restylane.htmWhat is the best non-surgical procedure for quite deep lines round the lips or cream/lotions to use?
Use Neo Strata.
I would use the new timewise lip primer. It gets rid of wrinkles on your lips, keeps lip stick on, and stops the lip stick from bleeding.
check it out www.marykay.com/c_pink
Cierra Hall
I've tried several Hydroderm products and they all work magic. I've sampled these products on a 30-day free trial and only paid $5-6.00 for shipping in order to try the products. Although I've never returned any of their products, if you don't see results, you can call an 800 number included with the product, cancel the ';trial'; and have to pay nothing further. (You do have to return the product if you don't want to pay.)
The serum for wrinkles around the eyes, and ';laugh lines'; also work for the creases above the lips, or between the eyes ';frown lines.'; The lip enhancer which puffs up your lips without injections also works great!
Worth a try when you only have to pay shipping up front!

Name some lip balms .what is milk cream?
Milk cream is the part of milk that has the highest fat content; it can be separated by centrifugation or gravity (if milk is left to stand, the upper layer will be cream, the lower layer skimmed milk).
The layer that collects on the top when milk is boiled, is clotted cream.
Most brands have lip balms - vaseline, nivea, etcName some lip balms .what is milk cream?
Nivea is the popular brand, Nivea Repair and Protection is really good if the drynes is severe. Nivea Cherry is good with lipsticks. When you keep milk, the upper thick layer is the milk cream.Name some lip balms .what is milk cream?

Is there any specific cream available for removing upper lips hair?
hai.. here before i dint use to remove my upper lips hair. but i feel to try it once. i heared that it will be very painful while trimming in beauty parlour.no..no..i cant bare. Is there any creame available in the market for this...? or any body get me some home remedy.....?Is there any specific cream available for removing upper lips hair?
nair-Is there any specific cream available for removing upper lips hair?
If you suffer from alot of facila hair, there is a cream avalible from your Dr on prescription. It's called Vaniqua, I use it as I suffer from PCOS which one nasty side effect is facial hair.
It's not actualy a removal cream, but works by slowing down the growth rate of the hairs.
Edit: Sorry, I perhaps should add I am in the UK....
don't get used to removing upperlips if you have not done it yet. if your hairs on the upperlips are visible and u are fair u better bleach it. Bleaching will hide the hairs. Don't use hair removers either they make the new hairs thick and even tanning in that area. According to me bleaching is the best method.
Sally Hansen Cream Hair Remover Kit for Face, Upper Lip and Chin
Sally Hansen Brush-On Hair Remover Cream for Face
You can use a Katori Wax
the drug store has a few brands to choose from,
u can use manjal for removing ur hair its very cool ya

Im a girl and i have upper lip hair ive tried hair removal cream, tweezing and shaving any suggestions ?
I suggest waxing. It hurts at first, stings a little, but after a while, you will get you to it. It also lasts longer than other things (shaving, creams, bleaching, etc.) and lasts longer. Not only does it last longer, it also will grow back more sparse and much finer. If you continue doing it, it will eventually become less noticible for you. And it is much cheaper than permanent hair removal.Im a girl and i have upper lip hair ive tried hair removal cream, tweezing and shaving any suggestions ?
wax that baby. let me tell you, it works like a charm :) haha good luck%26lt;3GabbsIm a girl and i have upper lip hair ive tried hair removal cream, tweezing and shaving any suggestions ?
Let it grow and get a job as Father Christmas in December.
get awax, or get the hair threaded.
my sister has upper lip hair and she bleaches it
how about wax
Waxing works well or laser removal. Laser is a bit expensive but is permanent and pays for itself eventually - just think how much you'd spend on waxing over a few years.....
wel..dont listen to people..dont ever wax on ur face ever even if its upper lips...cause you will get saggy skin soon or winkles stuff lik that..dont even try to do laser remover..because it also depends on the skin type... if you one of them havin sentitive skin you will probably have marks or stuff left on that area and blenching burns the skin cause of harsh chemical...best thing which i alwaz do as i am a beautician..try going for threading it really works....and you can doo it after every 3 weeks....
Yes Veet wax strips for upper lip hair removal, pretty good and you can get them cheaper at Superdrug than Asda and Tesco.
Unless you get electrolysis or laser removal, it's going to grow back every couple of weeks. Never shave it...bad, bad, bad...will make it get darker and more noticeable. Hair removal cream is the best thing because it liquifies the root and makes it grow back more slowly. Bleaching it is also good because it's not painful and makes it much less noticeable.
Laser hair removal. It takes a couple of goes, but it eventually and permenantly disappears.
Waxing is a good option, unless you have really fine hair. In that case, get threading. Once you see someone do it, you will be able to do at home yourself. Threading is good for touch-ups between waxings too.
just get it threaded . it herts but nit as much as waxin , but u'll need to get it rethreaded every 2 weeks .
have it waxed or bleeched
i suggest getting it waxed it last longer
If it really bothers you have it waxed.
It's time to kill those roots. Save your pennies and hit a spa for electro-analysis.
Try Electrolysis
See if you have a Sugaring Practitioner in your area. This is a soft sticky paste thats water soluable. Its a far more superior treatment to waxing. It moisturises the skin instead of drying it out. The hair grows back very sparse and slower and eventually diminishes altogether. Trust me I've been having my own done.
DONT SHAVE IT!!! it will grow back darker and cause irritation!
i have worked in a salon for years now and u would be suprised by the amount of women coming in to have the hair on their top lip removed. i would suggest geting it waxed by a profeshonal or if u dont like the idear of the pain of waxing then ask at ur salon if they could bleach it for u, but dont do it ur self at home as any thing u would use would probly be too strong and u could end up damaging or even scaring ur skin!
i have had the same problem but the only way to make it go away for ever is laser hair removeal it is kind of expensive but if you look around and find good deals it is not that bad with the time and money you pay for razors and cream and the risk of cutting your lip witha razor it is worth it the cost. hair will not grow back once you use the laser treatmeants ia m currently going throught the treatments they ar eevery 6 to 7 weeks and are only a few minutes long so that is my opinion it sounds drastic but it does not hurt and works really good
bleach it with jollen bleach which you can buy from chemists
if you thread it, it wont grow back thickly and theres also no after effects of long term damage that laser treatment can have, also it may hurt at first but eventually hair starts to grow back at a slower pace so its not too bothersome
You could have a look at this. It is made for facial hair on women. It is probably only available on perscription.
http://www.vaniqa.com/
That sounds like a hella hair. If you cant shave it, tweeze it, or burn it off with chemicals, I dont know. Dynomite?
laser will permanetly get rid of it or else get it waxed it will avoid the hairs being as stubbley when they grow back and will be finer
get it waxed
dye it blond

Cream hair remover has left upper lip darken after several years of usage what can be done to lighten area?
I am a black female with medium brown skin and use a cream hair remover on my upper lipCream hair remover has left upper lip darken after several years of usage what can be done to lighten area?
I suggest you use a concealer on the upper lip area to match your facial skin, this will hide the dark area immediately. For a permanent solution : squeeze half a lemon add 1 tsp. of thick cream and mix well, apply this to the area every day for 15 minutes, rinse with cold water, then apply cucumber juice. You can make the juice just by grating the cucumber and squeezing it. Also potato juice is very good. You can use both the juices on alternate days. Good luck!Cream hair remover has left upper lip darken after several years of usage what can be done to lighten area?
u need to cool off the area with cool water after using the cream and then moisturize it good...cream hair removers tighten up the skin n dry it out

What is a good cream that will treat my redness/irritation on my upper lip?
i have very sensitive skinWhat is a good cream that will treat my redness/irritation on my upper lip?
I agree about the Aquaphor and
Eucerin Lotions. Even St.Ives is a good lotion. I've found all these brands at walmart.
But the really really good creams for rashes are all percription from the dermatologist.
Even a dab of cortizone. (itch cream) will help calm it down and you can get that practially any where. What is a good cream that will treat my redness/irritation on my upper lip?
i use sudocream
its ment to be for nappy rashes but i put it on my spots/blemishes at night n wen i wake up my skin is clearer
cos its got zinc in it which helps dry it out problem skin and its a healing cream :) Report Abuse
Try vaseline
emu oil.
chapstick??
herpecin but remember, there is only treatment to herpes and not a cure
Mona-Vie gel packs.
I would try using this healing ointment called ';Aquaphor';. It is from Eucerin. It is a skin protectant, non irritating, and fragrance free. It is dermatologist recommended. It is advanced therapy that can be used for dry, cracked, or irritated skin. I used it, and it really helped. Because you have sensitive skin, you may want to check what is in ';Aquaphor'; before you use it. You can get it at Longs. Good luck!

Will it work putting ';fade out';cream on my lips to lighten the discoloration?
im currently applying fadeout cream( it has hydroquinone) to my lips everynight because my upper lip is of a purple color(very unattractive)
so is it safe to apply the hyfroquinone, and WILL IT WORK TO LIGHTEN MY LIPS?
any other suggestions are highly appreciated
thank youWill it work putting ';fade out';cream on my lips to lighten the discoloration?
Lip colour, hair condition, skin appearance are all general indications of what鈥檚 going inside your body. Change in lip colour can be because of many reasons like lack of oxygen in the blood, iron deficiency anaemia, circulatory problem or any other medical condition or some kind of medications. Excessive smoking, consumption of excess tea, caffeine, carbonated drinks, or tobacco triggers lips discolouration problems. Many a times use of wrong lipsticks and lip cosmetic can also be a reason because the lip skin is very soft and thus needs careful handling. For your problem the following steps can help
1) firstly and fore mostly rule out any medical condition, for that you can take the help of a dermatologist .If you want to use hydroquinone pls do it with dermatologists permission as these things are not meant to be toy around with.
2) Twice daily and regularly clean your lips with a good quality cleansing milk, massage it on your lips for few minutes and then wipe off with a damp cotton. After cleaning cover your lips with Vaseline.
3) For a month do not use any lipstick or lip cosmetic. Just feed and nourish your lips with Vaseline, ghee, butter etc. Do not let them go dry.
4) If you are conscious about your looks then to give some colour to your lips you can use beat juice.
5) Protect your lips from harsh sun. If you are going out put a mild concealer with uv protection and then Vaseline, after a month or so you must use good quality lipsticks with uv protections (spf)
6) For home remedies you can try lemon juice mixed with glycerine on lips that helps lighten skin colour but not too much. Once a week is good enough. Don鈥檛 keep it for long and after washing do apply Vaseline.
7) While brushing your teeth apply some toothpaste on lips also and make a habit of scrubbing the lips gently with your toothbrush. This helps in taking off the dead skin on lips which is also some times responsible for giving the lip a dull off colour look
8) Increase your fluid intake
Hope this will help.

Those who use hair removal CREAM for upper lip...plz answer this?
I heard this is the most non painful method to get rid of upper lip hair if skin is not very sensitive.
How frequently do you have it get done? Does hair come back very quickly than threading?
While hair just starts coming back does it really look very odd and does applying the cream at that stage works (on such short hairs)
btw, i am planning to try Nair face removal cream...is this what your favorite is?
Those who use hair removal CREAM for upper lip...plz answer this?
I have sensitive skin and have found that Sally Hansen's facial hair remover actually works better for me. In three minutes, the hair is gone, and I don't even notice that it has grown back until I look in the mirror one day and see it. ...in other words, the hair grows back very fine and unnoticeable. Those who use hair removal CREAM for upper lip...plz answer this?
Yeah i use Nair.
I use every 2 weeks or so.
Get the BLUE TUBE.
Its a light blue.
Not sure what kind it is cause i ran out and threw the bottle away,
But it beats the original one by a lot.
The pink one rarely works.
It works on everything,it doesnt look odd.
from experience i tell you to do the allergy skin test cause if you don't and you have areaction to it you will have a red ,irritated upper lip the hair comes back in like 2 -3 weeks
I have tried the nair facial removal cream. Its Great! I guess it depends on who you are but mine took about 1 month to stard seeing growth again and its so easy and non painful to use. I recomend it
using cream is not very good but u can just wax it then the hair wont come back . Good Luck!
I wouldnt know as I don't have to use facial hair removents :|

Waxing vs. hair removal cream for upper lip?
I have nair wax strips for facial hair and nair hair removal cream for upper lip. I am unsure which one to go with??
if i wax will i get really noticable stubble when it starts growing back?
what are the pros and cons of waxing upper lip hair?
what are the pros and cons of using hair removal cream?
please help, also does waxing cause wrinkles?Waxing vs. hair removal cream for upper lip?
use hair removal cream. it is way better and it stays way longer. use the raspberry flavored ones they smell good too. waxing hurts more and it can cause more hair to come or it can rip of your outer skin. so i recommend you to use hair removalWaxing vs. hair removal cream for upper lip?
Ok I've worked in a salon for years and here's my advice to you:
DO NOT USE HAIR REMOVAL CREAM It will leave you with stubble!
If you decide to wax, go to a salon. The reason is that when the beautician waxes you she pulls the strip off fast and in the right direction and pulls out the hairs. Whereas if you do it yourself, you tend to pull slower and and at a poor angle. (difficult to pull it off against the growth direction) So you break the hair off, giving you a stubble effect on the regrowth.
If it's the colour of the hair that bothers you, why not try cream bleach? If it's the amount of hair that bothers you, then wax it;
If you refuse to go to a salon, at least buy a wax pot and strips, rather than the prepared strips, you'll have more successs! Oh and waxing done by a professional will never cause wrinkling.
Hope this helped!
I would use the removal cream. The skin on your face is very sensitive and from my experience with waxing my eyebrows I know that wax can end up pulling off some skin along with the hair. As long as you don't leave the remover on too long and make sure you wash it all off after wards you should be fine. If you leave it on too long it can cause a chemical burn which is not pretty at all. In my experience waxing does last longer though. Also I have never heard of waxing causing wrinkles.
Non of them. Hair romover cream cause dark skin and waxing is not good for face as face skin is more sensitive than the skin of the other part of our body. I do threading for my upper lips and i m not using anything for my face hair but i am going for permanent hair remove by laser treatment. It is not expensive. Try for that one.
neither worked for me

Iv had a cold sore on the corner of my lip for over a month iv been useing cream my docter gave me but it wont?
go it just looks like dry cracked skin now but its really painfullIv had a cold sore on the corner of my lip for over a month iv been useing cream my docter gave me but it wont?
It won't heal over night, it will take about a week or two. Keep applying the cream, or you could use Abreva or Lipactin they are over the counter creams that work to heal cold sores. You could also go back to the doctor and tell them that you don't think the cream is working, they may prescribe you some thing different or stronger.Iv had a cold sore on the corner of my lip for over a month iv been useing cream my docter gave me but it wont?
The corner of the lip is a tricky area because when we eat it cracks and then it stops the healing often. You can give it a little more time or check with doctor for a different healing agent. Also taking a good multi vitamin and lysine may help it.

';Veet'; hair removal gel cream...does it work for upper lip hair?
veet wax strips are the best for fuzzy muzzys!';Veet'; hair removal gel cream...does it work for upper lip hair?
If it isn't made for your face DON'T put it on there or you'll end up with a rash! Buy one that is specially fromulated for your face or wax it :)';Veet'; hair removal gel cream...does it work for upper lip hair?
Nope! Read the precautions before putting it on random places. I thought I could use it on my face first but I checked and found out that you shouldn't. It will give you a rash if you use it anywhere else. Buy one made for your face!
No actually it burns the skin. EEEWWW!
no, it most likely has a warning on the box specifically saying not to use it on places like your upper lip. I only used Veet once (just on my legs) %26amp; it burned my legs like you wouldn't believe. It looked like someone put acid on my skin. I had red bumps %26amp; chaffed skin on my entire legs. I was scared I'd be scarred for life..luckily I wasn't. It was like the worst razor burn you could ever imagine x20. I wrote a letter to Veet %26amp; had taken pictures in case they tried anything..saying it was my fault or something. I guess they were afraid of a lawsuit or something. So they sent me my money back %26amp; a coupon for a free product (like I'd ever use another Veet product again! ha!!) You should buy something specifically made for the upper lip...sorry I can't recommend anything... I'm blonde %26amp; fair skin so I don't do this. You could also go to the salon %26amp; ask or get it waxed...just a thought.
ouch...i dont recommend that. your face is so much more sensitive than your legs and it could very well burn you. i would find a kit from your local drugstore that has heatless wax. or if you want a more effective method of waxing go to your local salon, it should be priced around 5-8 dollars.
No try bleaching it
its good
It's very likely indeed to burn. If the hair on your upper lip is worth removing at all, it's best to shave it.

I''m 9 wks preg & have got a coldsore on my lip, I always use Zovirak cream - will this do the baby any harm?
best idea would be to call the pharmacy. My doctor prescribed me Valtrax for a cold sore on my lip when I was 24 weeks pregnant, although I never took it, I dont think a doc would prescribe something harmful. Good luck and congrats.I''m 9 wks preg %26amp; have got a coldsore on my lip, I always use Zovirak cream - will this do the baby any harm?

Hot, sore top lip after using hair removal cream...Help?
After using sensitive hair removal cream, my top lip is now hot and inflamed. Have been splashing on cold water, but feels very tight and sore. Can i put on anything to soothe it? Tried and trusted methods only please!!!Hot, sore top lip after using hair removal cream...Help?
use pure Aloe - best if you can just break a shoot from a live Aloe plant, if not any hydro-cortisone cream will help soothe it as well. You can also put Tea Tree oil/cream on it...also, if you have any green tea bags - wet one %26amp; place it on your lip until you can get the Aloe or Tea Tree creams.
My daughter is an Esthetician - these are all remedies that she uses in the Spa.Hot, sore top lip after using hair removal cream...Help?
Do NOT put on any type of lotion or face cream. Nothing with oil in it. Your skin is experiencing a surface chemical burn from the hair removal cream. Adding oils/lotions will just cause the burn to deepen.
Get Aloe Vera. Either raw plant or a gel that you can find in the first aid section of a pharmacy.
If you get the plant, slice off the sharp barbs, split it down the middle and then squeeze the gel out. It will smell HORRIBLE, but will relieve the burn almost instantly. Keep applying it and ice to keep the irritation down.
Even though its for sensitive skin it doesnt mean that it should be used for your face.
Read all the warnings before you do it.
Try putting some ice on it
E45 Cream will help but dont use the removal cream there again, it will always become sore! I know because it happens to me .

I am 43 yrs old and I don't have much wrinkle on my face. I stop telling people my age for about 2 yrs now because I am tired of people never believe me. They always said I am 20 something. Well there are a secret for that. I been taking natural supplement for over 3 yrs now called OPC3. I also taking another antioxidant formula, every morning on empty stomach. You can do the research on Internet and found out what OPC do to your body. It's not just keep me stay young but it kept me from getting sick. I have not been sick or having allergy problem eversince. For my skin care I also use Pentaxyl cream. It is intensive skin repair for wrinkles and furrows. Both of this product you can find in my website. You can find OPC in any nutritional store for less prise but most are in a tablet form which is slow absorbtion and only some percentage be able to diggest. The one I been taking is a isotonic powder form which same ph balance as in your body fluid, fast absorbtion and be able to digest up to 95%. So you really get what you pay for.

If you have a invention for the lips like cream or something cosmetic do you need to go through the FDA?
If you want to sell retail...you surely do. It's better to do it whether you are selling retail or not. If you already have the FDA's approval on your product, people will be more likely to use it.
You could also sell your idea to a cosmetics line. Write up a professional business proposal and send it to their corporate headquarters.

The answer: Moisturizer. Your skin is dry and abused. Always moisturize after any facial treatment to keep skin looking young and healthy

I used a cream hair remover on my lip and it left two huge red marks, will they/how can i make them go away?
Be sure you washed your face with warm water and soap and then put some lotion on it. It will go away quickly , the same thing happens to me.I used a cream hair remover on my lip and it left two huge red marks, will they/how can i make them go away?
Seems like you left the cream on too long or (if you didnt) your skin is too sensitive to even tolerate the cream for the time you're instructed to leave it on for- in which case you can customise it to accomodate your skin by leaving it on for a minute or two less. A little redness is normal though - just not 'huge red marks' - but you can put a gentle moisturiser or vaseline on it and it should be gone by the next day or two.I used a cream hair remover on my lip and it left two huge red marks, will they/how can i make them go away?
kane?
it usually goes away in a day, and I suggest putting it on before going to bed and by the time you wake up it should be gone. But if it doesn't go away soon, idk
It'll go away in a couple of days.
Put a bit of lotion.
Yeah, just wash your face thhouroughly. You probably just had a bit of irratation from the cream.

Will the hair removal gel cream make hair grow thick? im going to doit on my upper lip....?
i wanna no if it makes it grow bak thickerrr? Will the hair removal gel cream make hair grow thick? im going to doit on my upper lip....?
That's a myth, and it only appears to happen when shaving. When you shave something it makes the hair strand blunt so when it grows out it appears thicker. Hair removal cream will not cause this, it will look the same as before when it grows back.

Olive oil makes a good moisturizer. And you can make a paste of sugar or salt and some sort of citrus juice as a scrub.
sugar fresh sqeezed lemon juice and olive oil for a foot scrub
Type in ';lip balm recipe'; on google.
I use cocoa butter - the pure stuff, not Palmers which is mostly castor oil (liquid paraffin) - melt it with a little essential oil of your choice, and some avocado oil, and then when it is room temperature it isn't too hard.
I also use oats to wash - v. good for sensitive skin.
i use phebo soap from brasil.........its vunderbar....i love it ../.it is a tonic for me..
