Does eating ice cream really help a lip piercing heal faster?

I've heard that by eating ice cream that it helps it heal quicker but i though i'd ask someone else first.





I've also heard that taking b-vitamin and zinc help the healing process.Does eating ice cream really help a lip piercing heal faster?
Ice cream will not help heal the piercing, but it does help with the swelling. However, my friends that have had their lip pierced used Oragel and they said it helps with the healing. It will kind of numb your lip though so be aware..lol.Does eating ice cream really help a lip piercing heal faster?
the temp of the ice cream may help the swelling but it isn't the ice cream itself.
