Skin whitening cream on my lips, wil it work?

I used to smoke.

I quit.

My lips are dark because of smoking.

My lips used to be pinkish colour, not it has become brown and ugly.

How can i make it pink again without putting lipsticks or colouring?

Will skin whitening help?

Thank you.Skin whitening cream on my lips, wil it work?
sometimes it does,..

Here are some instructions:

(I just get it from a mag)

1st brush your lips with toothbrush

2nd put lip balm

3rd put lip gloss

...IT works!!

whitening cream in lips can also make tour lip be pink!! but use it rarely!!Skin whitening cream on my lips, wil it work?
no. i dont think that cream will help u on lips.

the best thing to do now is stop smoking and start taking good and balanced diet. include lots of fresh fruit juices and fruits in ur diet. though it will take time but it can reduce the blackness of ur lips.

best of luck
I do not think it will be safe to use a skin whitener. Eventually it will go away. It may take some time but it will. Also ask a beauty consultant they may have some products they can suggest for you to use.
If you just wait your body will get rid of the nicotine and they will become pink again. Maybe not just as pink as the used to be but definitely not ugly brown. My mom used to smoke and after she's quite her skin color and lip color really changed. Good luck!
That could be very dangerous because there is a high likelihood of you ingesting it.......try laser treatments, they brighten skin and since there is no cream etc you dont run the risk of poisoning yourself.

And kudos to you for quitting!
very few things help lighten lip skin! i would becareful about what you put there because you don't want to perminentley damager you skin even more then it already has been damamaged probably the safest long term alternitive is to have some perminet make up put on it's like facial tattooing you could pick the colour have it done and never worry about it again!
There are so much lips enhancement in market, but in don't know if it can help.. They say it can make the lips red, but i don't think it's permanent...

Just consult the doctor, maybe he/she can help

i don't think it is safe to use on the lips in fact sometimes right on the product, it says avoid areas close to mouth.

My 2month old baby has got rash on her neck and upper lip what the best cream to use?

Kids get lots of rashes for lots of different reasons. It may be part of an infection, eczema or it may be because babies dribble a lot.

I think the best thing you can do is take her to the doctor just to be safe as you have to be careful what creams you put on their delicate skin.My 2month old baby has got rash on her neck and upper lip what the best cream to use?
Have you taken her to the doctors? That would be your best bet.My 2month old baby has got rash on her neck and upper lip what the best cream to use?
I would call her doctor to see if she needs to be seen before treating over the counter. Could be dried breastmilk or formula- whatever you feed- that wasnt washed off all the way and has dried on and formed a rash. Be sure to rinse her mouth and neck after feeding to prevent this.
i would not put anything on the lip, she could lick it off and then what? take her to the doctor or pharmacist.
I would take the baby %26amp; ask your pharmasist.
My baby had the same at 4 months and it turned out to be ecema which they have al sort of creams for, but you should really go to the doctor and get a proper diagnosis-good luck
double base is really gd hon u can get it off the doctor its gd for everything ,,
Fucidin cream

It was reccomended 2 me when my baby developed a rash after she was born.
E45 MAGIC FOR ANYTHING . I BET IT WILL GO IN 2 DAYS OR LESS. LET ME KNOW HOW U GET ON . BET ITS JUST A SWEAT RASH . GOOD LUCK AND TRY NOT TO WORRY . U COULD ALWAYS GET IN TOUCH WITH THE NHS HELP LINE OR VISIT UR GP
First I would wash the area several times a day and dry it off really well. If she is drooling alot I would keep a bib on her to keep her neck dry and if it gets wet dry it off (several times per day)

If it doesnt clear up or get better in a couple of days I would either go to the Dr or you can even drop by the pharmacy and most pharmacist would be glad to recommend something with out even going to the Dr!

good luck
At that age, I suggest you check with your doctor.
If the rash is hives she needs a small dose of baby benadryl, and if it's a skin condition she could need any number of topical creams. A doctor needs to look at her before any course of treatment is determined. DO NOT put any cortisone on her face unless it's precribed by a doctor, you can do far more harm than good with it.
go and check with your health visitor first just to make sure its nothing serious, otherwise i recomend drapoline or sudacrem.

when ever you remove hair, it always comes back thicker, quicker, and darker..i would just leave it alone..

No they suck

Just wax it.

we should not use hair removing cream on upper lops, try threading or face wax instead.

bye
wax it.

it doesn't hurt.

Is there any type of like cream that makes my lips pale?

Anyone know of something? My lips aren't that red, but I'd really like to know i there's anything out there.

(I already tried pale lipstick, but I want something more permanent) (Oh, and please only ideas that you or someone else have tried and it actually works)

Thank you!Is there any type of like cream that makes my lips pale?
to make my lips lighter i just rub a bit of foundation on it in the morningIs there any type of like cream that makes my lips pale?
dust translucent powder over your lips. it sounds odd, but it actually works. just don't go overboard. you don't want it to be noticable. lol.

Do facial hair removal creams make your upper lip hair grow back thicker?

Like Nair, will your hair grow back thicker? Will it look like stubble [i don't want that]. I wax it @ a salon, but I want something fast like the Nair facial cream. I am Italian, so I have some hair on my upper lip, so is it worth it? I only want it if it doesn't make your hair grow back thicker.Do facial hair removal creams make your upper lip hair grow back thicker?
Nope...the only drawback is that it is not a permanent solution.Do facial hair removal creams make your upper lip hair grow back thicker?
ok here you go, i like answering ones like these that are so obvious. Shaving, waxing or hair removal creme. NOTHING can make your hair grow back thicker. Example women who have been shaving for years would have porcupine legs, but listen..... anything that cuts the hair (shaving) but doesn't remove the root (like with cremes or laser surgery) will make it stubbled.
YES! It'll grow back thicker, faster, darker etc. Most hair on your body will if it's waxed (sometimes arm hair doesn't grow back at all when waxed - but it's the most painful). Bleach it, it's what pretty much every magazine will tell you do too, because it's the least riskiest.
I use one that is specifically made for the face. Most come with a calming cream that will soothe any irritation. I've had no problem with thick hair or stubble.... if anything, it's all but gone away! :)

Good luck!
Your hair NEVER grows back thicker.

It only looks like it does.

Otherwise, you'd have hair the size of tree stumps by now.
No. Nothing in the world makes your hair grow back thicker, it is all urban legends.

Rash/burn from using hair removal/depilatory cream above lip?

after i used this hair removal product above my lip, a brownish rash appeared on the upper left area and its pretty noticable. ive thoroughly cleansed the area with water and had frozen tea bags over my entire lip area, and applied neosporin to it and it only stings slightly. when i applied the cream the area may have been very slightly red from the sun, but im sure it wasnt burned enough to have been effected by the cream. and i looked back at the box and there was no information on what to do-im assuming the burn will fade in a few days and i dont plan on going anywhere public, but i would like to know a little more about what may happen to the area. for all of you skin dermatologists and beauticians, please help!Rash/burn from using hair removal/depilatory cream above lip?

Nair Hair Removal Cream For Face - Can it be used on UPPER LIP?

    ^^

thanks.Nair Hair Removal Cream For Face - Can it be used on UPPER LIP?
Yes. But make sure that you don't take a shower or wash your face for a few hours before you use it and don't hang around any steam (avoid anything that would make youre pores open). Otherwise, you will get a chemical burn from it (it will make it all red and hurt like a mofo). Make sure you folow the directions CAREFULLY so you don't get red marks.Nair Hair Removal Cream For Face - Can it be used on UPPER LIP?
Nair is very irritating. Use Sally Hansen creme hair remover for face. It comes with a vitamin E lotion to put on afterwards to help combat irritation. It might be a little red for a day, so do it over the weekend to give your skin time for the irritation to wear off.
    I WOULDN'T EVEN DARE!

Nail hair removal sucks, theres a proven 80% chance that you or anybody might get irritated skin from it. It could cause red , blod clot and irritation to whatever part of your skin you apply it on.
omg!! yeah it works but be careful..

i used it like 4 days ago for my upper lip, and i kept it on for 5 minutes only, and it burned... it was red for a long time too, even though it was only on for 5 minutes... so careful.. make sure to time yourself well.
never use hair removal creams for your upper lips. its bad. your start gettting more hair. its better to either bleach or use threading. i know threading is banned but you can try using bleach. its much better.
If its for your face it can , just dont keep it on to long or it will burn you :)
of course... its made for the face.

and second, if the box wasnt sealed, u could just go back to CVS and open a box and read the info. i mean its not like ur stealing it or anything and if the box is sealed, well then theres nothing u can do

i've heard horror stories of that stuff burning your skin and sometimes it actually makes it look worse and more like peach fuzz. i'd either wax or pluck

    Hair removing cream on lip?

Will this make the hair grow back darker and thicker as ive put it on my tiny white hairs that get clogged up in my foundation.Hair removing cream on lip?
Better to get ur tash waxed...may hurt a bit at the time but it will remove all hairs from the root - not just the surface like hair removing creams do. And should last alot longer too.

    =]

    xxHair removing cream on lip?
no the whole point of it is that it dissolves hair at the root, so they should come back just the same as they were

i would really recommend waxing or electrolysis if you can afford it as that is the only way to make the hair finer and less noticeable over time.

    hope that helps.
hair removing cream only takes the hair off from the surface. therefore just like shaving.

    look at mens faces.

    wax!!!!!!! much better result.

hurts the first couple of times but gets better and so worth it.
i tried hair removing cream on my upper lip..... but... eekk... noonono.. not a good idea.... firstly.. it stings.. and secondly.. its just like shaving.. and shaving will give you thicker and darker hair... wax... better results
The hair comes back darker and thicker.

I do use the hair removing cream but if you leave on too long it can burn your skin.

For special occasions, I go to a threading salon.
It shows the same effect like shaving. Wax is always better!
Nope, but next time try waxing.
it shouldn't but u will have to do it every six weeks or so..........

hi can sumone tell me which facial cream is best for the upper lip ? ive tried sooo many and they havent removed hair propely ! ples help !

thank youBest facial cream for upper lip?
nair is good but your best off to get it waxed at a salon its not that expensive and better in the long runBest facial cream for upper lip?
Instead of hair removal, try lightening it. Jolen is good. It also thins the hair down.
When it comes to removing moustache growth, it's probably best to ask the question, if there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Most guys are OK about women with a slight moustache.

If you do decide you have to do something, then be very careful, because there's a lot of wrong ';information'; around.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

    1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

    2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

    * Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

    * Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

    * Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

    * Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

Do upper lip hair removal creams really work?

Do upper lip hair removal creams really work?

    Is it safe to use?

Will it make the hair grow back darker?

What is the best brand that should I use?

Thankyou!!Do upper lip hair removal creams really work?
Yes they do work and don't make hair grow back darker. I use Nair (cheap and effective). You should do a test first the make sure you are not allergic. See website for more info. naircare.comDo upper lip hair removal creams really work?
Hair removal and hair bleaching works well. Shaving also works but because it slices the hair, the hair grows back with a blunt edge instead of a tapered end causing stubble. Nothing makes the hair grow back darker or produces more hair to grow back, this is defined by your genes and hormones only.

There are several ';permanent'; methods of hair removal but be aware that the industry has a different view to what is ';permanent';. If the method produces 90% (or similar) reduction in growth then it is deemed permanent. These methods include electrolosis and laser. these methods are slow and laborious (probably not too bad for just a top lip but for long legs it takes ages) There are home devices that can be used or you can get these treatments done at some beauty salons or clinics. There are a wealth of resources on the internet but you have to look for impartial ones (not the ones selling stuff).

I have recently grown a beard and my family love it but I understand that this is not a viable option for everyone;)
yes they work, you can remove hair,or you can bleach them safely.i do it their has been no problem i buy from drug store.any name brand will do.it's just very sensitive right after but in an hour or so its fine.

  • Question about Nair no touch upper lip hair removal cream!!!!???

I used Nair No touch upper lip remover thingy last night. left it on for about 7 minutes and it took most of my upper lip hair off. but i have some questions about how and when the hair will grow back? anyone ever used nair for their upper lip before?

Q1: When will hair grow back?

    Q2: Will there be stubbles/

Q3: does hair grow back thicker?

Q4: Like, when the hair just grew out (when it's really short) will it look dark and noticeable?

Q5: Will hair grow back faster?

thx.Question about Nair no touch upper lip hair removal cream!!!!???
my sister uses it and i know it doses not get stubble, hair has stayed about the same thickness as it was, and its less noticable when it does come back, and i think with the when it will come back it depends on the person, but usually a week and a halfQuestion about Nair no touch upper lip hair removal cream!!!!???
i use their facial wax strips, cuz my moms friend(who owns a beauty parlor) told us that creams ruin ur skin.

    1) itll start to grow like 4-5 days l8r.

    2) no stubble. that only happens when u shave or something.

3)it doesnt exactly grow back thicker, cuz it grows back slowly, like a few hairs at a time.

    4) it depends on how dark ur hair is. if ur a brunette or have black hair, yeah, its kinda noticeable.

    5) it wont really grow back that fast, and if it does, just remove it, or pluck those few hairs.

it actually depends on ur skin/body type....some ppls hairs grow back fast, some dont....

Thanks : )How do I make a basic lip balm, eyeshadow, creams?
Well, I don't have any websites, but I do have this:

For lip balm, try crisco, a bit of gelatin (optional), vaseline, and flavouring with kool-aid or lemonaid, or essential oils. Eyeshadow requires a bit more work, so you'll have to contact a professional for that. As for creams, try mixing milk (or cream), vitamin e, and if you want, some thick (unflavoured!) greek strained yogurt. (If you add the yogurt be sure to rinse it off afterwards)

Another trick for a face wash/mask:

Make oatmeal from PLAIN oatmeal mix and hot water, and strain out all of the oats with a sifter, so you are left with the pasty liquid. Apply to skin, let dry, and rinse off.

Hope this is helpful, and have fun! Haha

hi for upper lip hair some will do threading,waxing%26amp;bleaching?wat is the use of bleaching?is it good or bad to bleach?tell me one good brand of bleach cream for upper lip hairTell me upper lip hair bleach cream
a normal bleech cream for face can be used as upper lip bleach cream, what i found that hair come to grow thicker and thicker after use of bleach and looks funny. mu older and younger sister have this problem i shoose to thread them i do them every week, i find this works for me, i use epilator Bion Lady Epilator %26amp; Cosmetic Shaver for my whole face and hair dont grow as much so it much easier but little bit painful i even do my upper lip with that doesnt take that long, go do googlea and find epilator for yourself you regart..\\

    luck dal.

Tell me upper lip hair bleach cream
bleaching just makes the hair really white so its not noticable. however, for lip do waxing because you can see it in the sunlight and from your side veiw very easily. bleaching is more for arms if you have dark arm hair and for the face someties, but more for forehead and such, waxing looks so much better
i think u shld wax ur upper lips.... its must better then bleaching...but if u cant take the pain ( well its not too much pain to be honest) ... then just bleach it... but by bleaching it ..u will still feel tht u hve hair.... i would totally recomment threading or waxing..

    good luck =)

Those who use hair removal CREAM for upper lip...plz answer this?

I heard this is the most non painful method to get rid of upper lip hair if skin is not very sensitive.

How frequently do you have it get done? Does hair come back very quickly than threading?

While hair just starts coming back does it really look very odd and does applying the cream at that stage works (on such short hairs)

btw, i am planning to try Nair face removal cream...is this what your favorite is?Those who use hair removal CREAM for upper lip...plz answer this?
I use Nair on my upper lip every two weeks. Its a tiny tube that is for sensitive facial hair. Its quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend it. Those who use hair removal CREAM for upper lip...plz answer this?
you aren't suppose to use hair removal cream on your facial area.

hair removal cream is meant for your arms, legs, and armpits. no where else.

you should either use a cream bleach or wax your upper lip.
Mad noodlez is incorrect they make hair removal cream for the face. It doesn't come back right away and it doesn't come back thicker. It doesn't look odd either. It's easy to use, but always test a spot first.

Got my 1st piercing last year all went well and 16th june i got my second lip piercing and it has swollen alot and i'm looking for ways to get the swelling down abit. and does any one no where i could get a cheap 1.2x12 bar as i currently have a 1.2x10 in my lip and wld like a slightly bigger oneWill ice keep down the swelling on my lip piercing, and will antispectic cream help take down swelling?
Ice would work the best for the swelling. The antiseptic cream will help keep the peircing clean, which in turn will help with the swelling. But using bother at the same time will work great. Just don't over bored with the cream.

You can get a bigger bar at Club Tattoo. Little more pircer, but well worth it. Or you can go to somewhere like Spencers. I don't know the quality of those, but they're pretty cheap. Try Hot Topic too. Will ice keep down the swelling on my lip piercing, and will antispectic cream help take down swelling?
Yes to ice cream and yes to antiseptic cream. But use Listerine for your mouth as frequent as you can as the bacteria come from your saliva %26amp; mouth.

On a separate note, think about stopping self mutilating your body, especially your head as later on you will have a hard time finding a good job that deals with the public.

    Upper lip wax,cream,or bleach?!?

i've already asked this question, i just want it to be shown again so people will answer again for more opinions :)

i already know shaving is out of the question.

my upper lip doesnt have long hairs..

it just looks sorta darker than the rest of my face so gives the idea tht i have a moustache i guess :S

so i guess i have lotsa short hairs ?

what do you recommend? i have slightly dark skin (im vietnamese canadian)

and whatever you recommend, how do you use it ?

my mom doesnt know much about this stuff.

im also kinda reluctant to ask anyways.

    please help! :D

p.s any complications/problems when or after bleaching? if i have really tanned skin will it look real bad ?Upper lip wax, cream,or bleach?!?
I go and get my brows waxed about once every 5 weeks, I get my lip waxed at the same time! It cleans it up very nicely and the hair takes longer to grow back each time you do it. I have thick hair since I am half Spanish, and I have had no problems wiht it Good luck!Upper lip wax, cream,or bleach?!?
Waxing your lip causes sagging over time. I thinkthe bet thing is to pluck it off it doesnt hurt that bad. If you can try to find someone who does indian threading. That is where they twist a thread like three times and all the hair comes off. I got it done and i love it. if u cant find that just pluck it off i think bleaching looks horrible on dark skin because it shows up even worse.

My skin id darkened at the upper lip area coz of excessive use of the wrong hair removal cream.?

will lightening creams help?if so, which?or any home remedies.pl help. thanx guysMy skin id darkened at the upper lip area coz of excessive use of the wrong hair removal cream.?
before u waste money on lightening products; try a great micro dermabrasion face mask first. this will remove some dead skin and poss even it out too.

im not sure if skin lightening cream would work like that (to my understanding its just for skin pigmentations not something thats most likely temporary) but a great one is in the 'skin doctors' range or 'dr lewins'

hope this helped! good luck :)

  • I used a hair cream remover for my upper lip & I had a small pimple next to my mouth & when the hair came off,?

the skin around the pimple area got really red and dry. this happened yesterday. i put cool water and lotion on it, and nothing worked. the red color is much more intense and bigger now. it still kinda hurts. is there anything i can do to help it go away because it's so obvious?I used a hair cream remover for my upper lip %26amp; I had a small pimple next to my mouth %26amp; when the hair came off,?
It could have been an ingrown hair.Put some alcohol on it to soothe it and if you have to go some where special ,you will have to cover it up .I used a hair cream remover for my upper lip %26amp; I had a small pimple next to my mouth %26amp; when the hair came off,?
I would just put an ice cube in a sandwich bag or get out a bag of veggies and sit and watch a tv show holding it to the spot to reduce the redness and swelling,

do about 20 minutes, like try once now .. then again before bed
First of all, this is normal. It happens to me too. This is because your skin is irritated from the hair remover. For now all you can really do is use some makeup, but the oil in the makeup can cause more pimples to show up. My advice is to not do anything about it. Try using tweezers next time. It will take longer but your skin will only be red for a little while.
that's why you shouldn't use hair crean remover. try using some oil of olay cream, to re-hydrate that area. but make sure you wash your hands before and after your done touching your face. that area is really sensitive, and you don't want it to get infected.

What is The Best Lip Balm/Cream To Use To Repair/Heal Damaged Lips From Lip Biting Habit?

I use to bite my lips a lot %26amp; I just kicked the habit, but it looks like the damage is already done. The areas where I use to bite my lips have turned pink %26amp; I kinda don't mind it cause I've gonna a few girlfriends cause of it(I dont know why but a lot of girls I meet like the way it looks) but even so I still get a little self-consciousness but it from time-to-time. I've noticed since I've stopped biting my lip the pink areas have started to return to its normal color but nothing to get to excited about(mite take 12-18 months to fully heal). So does anyone know of any Lip-Balms or Creams I can put on to help the with the healing %26amp; keep my lips moist also? What is The Best Lip Balm/Cream To Use To Repair/Heal Damaged Lips From Lip Biting Habit?
I recommend a medicated balm that you can smear on,if you get that urge,or whenever you want it to feel better.

Blistex makes 2 great medicated balm pots that you should try.One is called Blistex DCT (Daily Conditioning Treatment),and the other is called Blistex Lip Medex.DCT comes in a peachy colored pot,and Lip Medex comes in a blue pot.

Lip Medex is alot like Carmex, but you shouldn't overuse it b/c of that fact.

DCT is made to be used everyday to gradually heal your lips, and seems to be exactly what you would want for this.

You can usually purchase these at K-Mart.What is The Best Lip Balm/Cream To Use To Repair/Heal Damaged Lips From Lip Biting Habit?
Exfoliate them with a toothbrush if you can [gently scrub them in circular motions] to get rid of the dead skin. I used to wear a cheap lip balm made of 100% natural ingredients. It kept my lips moist longer than Vaseline, even at night. Just rummage around for natural lipbalms.
my lips peal, crack, and get dry all the time, so my lips get damaged all the time. so i use chap-sticks medicated if that helps!

congrats on kicking the habit, i use to bite my nails all the time a long time ago, but now i only bite them when im nervous.
Vaseline is all thats to it; every morning and night.

And, if you can find it, blisterex relief cream to go WITH it.
See your dermatologist, he will have the most suitable lip balm/cream for you to use.
Put vaseline on at night, then use a body shop lip balm during the day - they smell great and last for ages!

please help! :DUpper lip wax, cream,or bleach ?!?
Veet makes cold wax strips specifically for facial waxing; try them out.

They work for me and I am exactly like you (well.. Canadian Chinese hahaha).Upper lip wax, cream,or bleach ?!?
    Your best bet would be to use bleach, but you dont want to bleach it too much if you have really tan skin. If you wax it, it will probably grow back longer, but definately DO NOT shave it. If you decide to wax (remove) the hair, I would recommend ';threading';. This is better than wax, and your skin will not be as red when done. It is also just as cost effective, but without using harsh chemicals on your lips. The only thing is that I have heard that threading the lip can tingle a little bit when they are doing it. If you want to learn more about threading, google ';threading eyebrows';
If the hairs are really short, then probably waxing isn't going to work too well. I'd personally recommend to use bleach. You can find bleaching kits made for unwanted hair at many drug stores. Just make sure you follow the instructions and don't leave it for too much longer than prescribed, otherwise you could get some redness and irritation that'll last for a couple days!
I use bleach and it doesn't hurt my skin. I have an olive complection, so the darker facial hair looks like I have a dirty face. I've bleached my ';mustache'; since I was in highschool! No one has ever known it's even there!
It depends on your skin tone/hair colour. If you have dark hair then bleaching the hair on your lip may make it more noticeable, in which case waxing may be better.
Try Sally Hansen cream bleach. it works good. the only downside is that it kinda irritates the skin at first. like a burning sensation
go bleach, if you wax it grows back in so much thicker and if you bleach you wont need to wax because your hair will be blonde
    bleach it dont wax

I just used hair removal cream on my upper lip, and now it is really red.?

any suggestions on how to get rid of the red by tomorrow with out going to the store an buying a special cream??I just used hair removal cream on my upper lip, and now it is really red.?
Does it say that you can use the hair removal cream on the face? Because if it doesn't it could have been too harsh on your skin because then skin on the face can more sensitive.

What you can do is wash the face again with cool water and pat it dry. Then, hold an ice-pack or bag of peas over it for 5-10 minutes to make the redness to go down to a minumum. It may not completely disappear by tommorow but if u put ice on it, then it wont be AS red.

Mabe you can try covering it up with make-up

Good Luck :D!I just used hair removal cream on my upper lip, and now it is really red.?
Maybe there was some residual hair remover left on your skin, and that's what's making your skin so red. Wash your face gently with a mild cleanser and pat dry, don't rub the affected area or it will get worse. Apply hydrocortisone cream if you have it. If not, try dabbing Visine on the red. If you don't have either, get an ice cube and run it across your upper lip until the red starts to go away.

    Anti-aging lip balm/cream!?

is there any other good anti-aging lip balms/creams beside kinerase?(it's too expensive) i want one preferably with an spf AND also says something about restoring the rosy color to lips?Anti-aging lip balm/cream!?
I'd try Lavere Lip Expert Anti Ageing Lip Cream. It's completely organic and has an SPF5. After 3 weeks you will usually find that lips are 75% fuller and have 85% less wrinkles. It retails at about $40.

I would also strongly suggest purchasing a lip filler that you apply before putting on any lip makeup, which will literally fill in the wrinkles and make them almost unnoticable. The Dior lip filler is currently the best on the market (and also pricey at $57), but the effects are obviously a lot more immediate.

    yes!
No, its not strong enough. It may dry your lips since your lips are thinner skin then the rest of the face. Really the whole bleaching thing applys to hair and eyebrows. It will bleach those! And if you put it on before bed, it will bleach your sheets if they are a darker color.

(Funny story, my husband had a spray toner with benzoyl peroxide in it and used it for a week and his eye brows and the front section of his hair turned orange!)
It would probably just burn a little bit, so dont let it get on your lips!
no Ive never had that happen..
nope, might cause skin irritation however and burn a bit, so be careful

  • Lip balm/cream for specific needs...?

im looking for a lip balm/cream/ some sort of treatment that will 1)reduce fine lines/wrinkles around mouth 2) plump 3) has spf 15 4) protects from chapping, splitting, drying

    price doesn't matter

please suggest the best!Lip balm/cream for specific needs...?
look online on websites for avon or arbonne. they will probably have the best most natural product for this. I know that some places have lip products with colagen in them to plump your lips. this should help the lines some what.

IF I WERE YOU...I would get a really good chap stick and just treat my lips with it for a while. At night, I would apply an anit=-aging cream on the problem area around the mouth. Then when you go out, use the plumping lipsticks that are on the market. There are many products out there over the counter. Just go to the drugstore and look around. What you really need is bee luscious cosmetics LIPTOX and LipTox Sheers.

This lip gloss will promote healthy lips and they will look and be more hydrated. It the most amazing product, make sure you get the bee luscious label to guarantee quality.

The area above my upper lip is a tad darker than the rest of my face.coz i used to use hair removel cream thr?

i have stopped now, but tthe dark are'a still thr and i hate it esp as i'm fair and all.also have dark circles undereyes have been havin them for kinde long since 12 maybe..wat do i do ?thanx so much guys alll advice really appreciatedThe area above my upper lip is a tad darker than the rest of my face.coz i used to use hair removel cream thr?
You can try to lighten it by rubbing a slice of lemon on the darkened skin and leaving it there for 10-20 minutes. This can get pretty irritating, so do it once every two days or so. It might take a while, but it should lighten with time.

If you have the budget, you can also go for chemical peels that lighten the skin. Just keep in mind that just because chemical peels are done by professionals, they can still go horribly wrong.

I'm know that there are many fading creams out there, but I'm not sure how many of them would work in your situation. Try talking to your doctor so see if he/she has any reccomendations.

Hope this helps! The area above my upper lip is a tad darker than the rest of my face.coz i used to use hair removel cream thr?
If you went out into the sun without protection after using the hair removal cream, you may have caused hyper-pigmentation due to the fact that you removed a layer of skin when removing the hair (which is normal). The chemical preparations will also cause premature ageing.

I would suggest using a product that will lighten the skin gradually, and always use sun protection to prevent the skin from getting even darker. Talk to your doctor and get a referral to a dermatologist. He will be able to suggest the proper medications and precautions for your skin type. Or see an Aesthetician as they have some products that treat hyper-pigmentation.

As for the under eye circles, there can be many causes. One of which could be a dairy allergy, hereditary, etc. Or perhaps, even lack of sleep.

If you are fair skinned, you may have permanent dark circles due to the fact that the area around the eyes is very delicate and the skin is thinner there, the blood vessels are closer to the surface and will show through easier.
This sounds strange but are you on the pill. It will cause darkening areas of the skin especially on the upper lip. It can become darker in the warmer weather and get lighter in the winter. If you are the only thing is to go off it. If your not on the pill it could be scarring from the hair removal cream. Which will eventually lighten over time. Laser will definitely lighten it. I hope this helps.
The dark area is most likely hyper-pigmentation caused by your body sending scar tissue into the area to try to protect your skin from more chemical burns.

    It may be permanently discolored.

Try nourishing it a bit with some vitamin E and natural oil, like olive, to let your skin know that you're feeding it, rather than poisoning it. Who knows, you might be able to get that scarring to go away.

But it's not going to go away if you keep dumping chemicals on it.

I get dark under my eyes, too. After my brother got through EMT school, he suggested that the dark circles under my eyes might be an indication of too low of a sodium intake.

I tried eating some really salty eggs (I really don't like salty stuff - but eggs need salt). I don't have any clue how increasing salt in your diet makes a difference, but serious, I don't have dark circles any more. When they start getting dark again, I just eat something really salty and in a day or so the dark circles are all gone. Wish I knew how that works...

  • Which is better sally hansen wax strips or the cream for the upper lip?

    which is better??

do any of these products leave a stubble?

thanks=)Which is better sally hansen wax strips or the cream for the upper lip?
Wax strips are OK,and will pull some of the roots out to stop them growing again. The problem I have had is that sometimes with wax strips it hurts and can pull the skin off so you are left with scabbing. I use creams now, much less painfull and not left with scabs. However you do need to do it quite often, but that shouldn't be a problem as its not expensive. Any make will do. Do not bleach though this does not look goodWhich is better sally hansen wax strips or the cream for the upper lip?
i tried the wax strips and they didn't work, i had to heat up this purple tube [the wax] basically nothing came out

the depilatory cream works but it's a hassle and depilatory cream really stinks on your upper lip it's really gonna stink you'll have to wash it out really good

basically i'd recommend just shaving it, it doesn't leave stubble like you would think, it's really the best temporary option

    or plucking it

personally i had laser hair removal it's a permanent option and it's worth it
I do not use Sally Hansen products because their CEO was convicted of sexual harassment. I quit using their products about 10 years ago after I saw a program about this ****** on I believe 60 Minutes. Anyhow, he went through secretaries like they were disposable objects before somebody got the courage to charge him with harassment and took him to court where he was found GUILTY.

    My opinions only.
i've never really heard of other products but I know of other solutions for upper lip..some creams don't really work well.

you can buy a product to bleach it. Its a cream you add that makes it really light so its not noticeable and it doesn't hurt.

    or

you can get it waxed at a hair salon for like 5 bucks. They do a good job and it stays for a while..

    good luck! =)
dont do the delipatory cream i have tried it with miserable results!!!!!!

what i use now, the sally hansen bleach doesnt make hair completely go away, but it fades it to where you cant see it .... i want to try the wax, but im afraid that when it grows back,, it will be stubbley and manly so im wit u !!!

    good luck! :)
I get mine waxed at a salon every 2 weeks. It's only $8 where I go %26amp; they do a really good, thourough job. I used to use cream, but it smelled horrible %26amp; grew back really quick. Whatever you do, though, DON'T shave your upper lip; you'll get guy-like stubble.
I just shave when I shower every day. It doesn't leave redness like waxing, and there's no stink like cream.

    Sally Hansen Collagen Lip cream?

sorry im black and was blessed with naturally full lips so i don't know anything about dat. but i do know that to much of anything can't be good. maybe you should try to take it easy on the collagen and if you want fuller lips just dedicate yourself and get lip injections. there is apsolutely nothing wrong with it everybody is doing it. and it will save you time and money. that way you won't have to have Angelina Jolies one day and chicken lips the next.

  • Is the use a depilatory cream on upper lip prior to laser hair removal allowed?

No you will be arrested by the mustache police. Is the use a depilatory cream on upper lip prior to laser hair removal allowed?
You probably don't want to do it shortly beforehand -- the laser needs enough hair left in the follicle to fry the follicle, and depilatory creams dissolve the hair somewhat below the surface of the skin. If you don't have enough left, the hair doesn't get hot enough when stimulated by the laser, to fry the follicle and keep it from making more hair. This is also why laser hair removal doesn't work as well on finer or lighter color hair.

It does also irritate the skin and could add extra irritation to the process -- think of your upper lip being red all the rest of the day and possibly going peely and dry from the double irritation (cream, then laser). Just shave if you need to the day or two before. Is the use a depilatory cream on upper lip prior to laser hair removal allowed?
No. I was told a razor only, unfortunately. here is a chemical in the cream that can interfere with the laser process.

Is it safe to use hydrocortisone cream on lips?

My lips have been dry and itchy for the past month or so.

No amount of lip balm seems to help. I've tried different types-- even medicated.

Today my lips are irritated and red all around the edges, and the hydrocortisone cream in my medicine cabinet looks very tempting... I'm sure it would calm the irritation... but is it safe to use so close to the mouth? Is it safe to use hydrocortisone cream on lips?
not for use on mucus membranes, eyes, lips, nose..its an anti inflammatory, you need lip balm with a wax base..you lick your lips like you blink, you would subconsciously ingest the creme. Is it safe to use hydrocortisone cream on lips?
only on the outside if you get it on your lips and then take it in woo you have one bad taste to deal with try some lip balm. it comes in a round yellow case like 1.99 at any store .

Nair facial cream for upper lip?

My friend recommended Nair facial cream for my upper lip and she says it really works and the hair grows back lighter. But the thing is I'm not 100% sure I just want to know if it really works and the hair does grow back lighter.Nair facial cream for upper lip?
Ive just bought it and tried it out. I used to use Veet wax strips for the face. In my opinion ive found no difference. In bith, the hair is thin when it regrows but for me, using both, the hair grew back in a week - 1 and 1/2 week. So its the same as waking - less painful tho! :D

Ps. the hair doesnt come off when you take the cream off, you sorta have to wipe it off even tho it says not to rub? maybe i didnt keep it on long enough?

LOL anyway sorry for rambling on. hope i helped.

    mine?

http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind… Nair facial cream for upper lip?
Nair is just a bleach. I'm not sure that the hair would grow back lighter. It would be the same as if you coloured you hair on your head. I used to use it, but being naturally very dark haired, (i'm grey now, so dye my hair blonde) the hair used to go a yellowy colour. Try it, it will definitely lighten the hair. I use cold wax strips now, which are very effective.
it might appear finer or lighter when it grows back as it is the tip that grows back (rather than the root).

I would recommend trying a hair lightener rather than a remover.
i'm pretty sure that nothing makes it lighter when it grows back.

    unless it pacifically says that.

  • Best facial cream for upper lip?

hi can sumone tell me which facial cream is best for the upper lip ? ive tried sooo many and they havent removed hair propely ! ples help !

and can you also give me tips on removal techniques

thank youBest facial cream for upper lip?
I actually just answered a similar question on Yahoo, so don't be surprised if you see my answer twice. Here's what I said... hope it helps!

In my opinion, the best way to go, if your skin isn't too sensitive, is depilatory cream. I've tried Nair's Face Cream, and it works really well. Nair also has a cream for sensitive skin types on the same web page:

    http://www.naircare.com/bodyzones_bface....

Sally Hansen's Wax Strips for the Face work well too, but I personally don't like the after-feeling that waxing leaves even though the wax strip process itself is basically painless:

    http://www.sallyhansen.com/bd/hr_wax_str...

If you're really pressed for time, then using the Finishing Touch Hair Remover gets the job done. However, the hair will grow back significantly faster than after waxing or using cream:

    http://www.amazon.com/finishing-touch-li...

I use Finishing Touch because I go to college and don't have enough privacy to sit around with depilatory cream on my face without people seeing me, but I'd still recommend Nair overall.Best facial cream for upper lip?

well..i have tried some facial creams..but they didnt satisfy me really :S...threading is really good it leaves the skin smooth..but the hair grows fast...i think removing hair permenantly using LASER is the best solution :)
The true answer is none. Anything that is strong enough to destroy hair is strong enough to damage your skin.

Most women will develop moustache growth at some point in their life, especially after age 30, but many from early teens.

If there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything?

Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.
why dont you try threading it instead..? you can even get it waxed... but i do know threading is good... well neway take care...(ps.waxing doesnt suit everyone.) and if you thread or do whatever to try and remove the upper lip facial hair and you get a tiny spot next to your lip dont pick it coz the next thing you know it turns into a mountain... so be care full.. anyway take care... =)

Does anyone know how to exfoliate lips? Without buying the special lip exfoliating creams/scrubs/glosses?

I was wondering if anyone knew any special at-home remedies for dry lips. Mine are criminally dry :O

I would invest in those exfoliating scrubs, but now isn't the right time to do it.

Also, when you exfoliate your lips, HOW EXACTLY are you supposed to do it? The thought of exfoliating my lips seems... bloody! xD...

any answers are greatly appreciated!Does anyone know how to exfoliate lips? Without buying the special lip exfoliating creams/scrubs/glosses?
a trick we use in the industry (i model) is that we put some vaseline on our lips, a little thicker than you would chapstick, and lightly scrape your lips with a toothbrush (not one you use daily). dont act like your brushing your teeth, just soft movements, that removes all the dead skin. you then take a tissue and wipe it all off and layer up on chapstick. we always do this before bed, because than you go to sleep and your chapstick will stay put and moisturize all night. =)Does anyone know how to exfoliate lips? Without buying the special lip exfoliating creams/scrubs/glosses?
    Mix sugar and honey together.

Put chapstick or vaseline on your lips and then the mixture.

Move your fingertips gently in circles on your lips.

    It feels gooood.

Don't do it too hard or yes, it will be bloody !
okay, take a small handful of sugar, mix it with some warm water, and scrub it gently on your lips followed by a lip balm, don't scrub too hard, though! =)
You can use an old toothbrush to scrub them.

And don't worry, it won't be bloody. xD

Can i remove my hair on my upper lip with hair removal gel cream?

    will it GROW BACK THICKER?!

or if i cant wut shud i do at home to bleach hairCan i remove my hair on my upper lip with hair removal gel cream?
I'd bleach it first, and see if you're happy with that. Sally Hansen makes a nice facial bleach that doesn't burn/sting/irritate. If you don't like that result, then do the facial hair removal thing. Can i remove my hair on my upper lip with hair removal gel cream?
yes u can but im personally sensitive and it burns plus has been really irritating to my nose. it shouldnt grow back thicker. Shaving makes it grow back thicker.

Is Nair the only type of cream to remove hair from the upper lip, or just the most common brand?

No, its just very popular, and im guessing it works pretty efficiently but there's also:

    Moon Organic

    Veet %26lt;33333

    Nads %26lt;33333

    Epil-Ya

    Finally free hair removal

    Karl Skin Care

    Sally Hansen %26lt;33333

    Jolen

I would suggest going to your local

Drug store %26amp; seeing the ones they

have and pick one you think would work best. :]Is Nair the only type of cream to remove hair from the upper lip, or just the most common brand?
Not the only one, but its very common. Go to any drugstore and they have a whole isle basically dedicated to hair removal. haha Waxing strips may be the best. I would test nair somewhere other than your face before using it. Just to make sure that you aren't allergic to it or anything. (my friend was allergic to it) You don't want to have a break out all over your face. Good Luck :)Is Nair the only type of cream to remove hair from the upper lip, or just the most common brand?
Nah, it's just pretty common. If you go to the drugstore or grocery store they'll have a lot of creams and lotions for removing hair, or wax strips.
it's jus the common one...there is also veet but veet is kinda expensive...nair is the cheapest and works the best
    It's the most common one.

Hair removing cream for upper lip hair?

Are hair removing creams (for upper lip hair)safe and easy to use? How do you use it? And how often do you use it?

Thanks =)Hair removing cream for upper lip hair?
If it's made for your face then it should be safe but you should follow directions exactly as stated because your face is more sensitive then your legs or arms %26amp; it could cause burns. if you leave it on longer.

You could always tweeze the hair that was left behind after you use the hair removal cream.

*Don't leave it on any longer than it says on the instructions*

I would recommend waxing instead.. Yes it may hurt a bit the first few times you do it but hair removal cream is just like shaving, the hair grows back darker %26amp; thicker.

Good LuckHair removing cream for upper lip hair?
yep i use them, just be sure not to leave them on for longer then recommended as it could burn your skin. once every two weeks and leaves perfectly smooth!
Yes they are but be sure to check with a bit on on ur arm or something so u know u arent allergic. Use it about once a month
    smooth away(:

Veet hair removal cream on upper lip?

i have veet in-shower hair removal cream, and in the directions it says not to use it on the face.

and i was wondering, what would happen if you did use it on the face, like on the upper lip?

would it just have the same effects as shaving, like the hair growing back thicker and darker, or what?Veet hair removal cream on upper lip?
i think it says that because the skin on your face is thinner and more delicate.but if you did use it on You face it may just irritate it.it wont make your hair thicker and darker shaving doesn't do that either it just looks like it for some reason.

Hope this helped..Veet hair removal cream on upper lip?
it wouldn't grow back thicker or anything. it is just too strong to use on your face. it would turn really red and there would be little red bumps. and it would hurt!
I would not use the veet cream on your upper lip.

You may get some kind of acne or rash in that area.

It will probably itch quite a bit, also.

Is there a cream that gets rid of hair on the upper lip w/o making it red and rashy?

i need a cream to get rid of my hair on my upper lip (dont laugh every woman has it) dont tell me to wax it because i had a very unpleasant experience. i was waxing it, but the wax was really strong fro my young, delicate, sensitive skin (im 12, im only waxing tho bcuz my mom is from the middle east so my mustache is really noticable and ugly) and anyway when i was waxing, it pulled some of the skin off. so it got red and was burnig. then it had these dark brown spots. then it scabbed over. then the scabes turned to cold sores. then they were scabby cold sore. then after about a month they fianally went away...BUT THEN THE GOD DAMN HAIR HAD GROWN BACK SO IT WAS ALL A WASTE!!!! so anyways i need a quick cream for my upperlip that will get the job done w/o harming my skin. thanks sooooooo much!! :)Is there a cream that gets rid of hair on the upper lip w/o making it red and rashy?
that guy who said ';eww'; is so immature. and yes it is that noticeable, cuz she's middle eastern. so am i.

    i know how you feel.

umm i suggest you buy a FINISHING BALM WITH CUCUMBER.

i use that all the time after hair removal. it gets rid of redness.

i dont really wax. i have only done that once or twice.

personally, i either use cream, or this:

    http://www.braun.com/global/silkepil/xel鈥?/a>

its not that bad. the pain is about the same as waxing.

but less in my opinion. cuz you get used to it and yeah...Is there a cream that gets rid of hair on the upper lip w/o making it red and rashy?
ok this is a really goodcream it only takes a few minutes but it will always come bak so you will have to be doing it every three weeks or so.it depends. sally hansen facial hair removal it only costs around $5-$6 at h.e.b. or wal-mart
    Ewwwwwwwwwww!
you are really 12 %26amp; and are already saying things like 'god damn'?

you could use nair, but i strongly don't reccomment using it on your face because it can burn. the only other options are try buying any lotions of shaving cremes that claim to lighten and make hair less noticable, but i have no experience with these. you could also shave it every day.. theres not much shaving just a quick 1-2-3.. or you can get your family to fork over for electrolisis (i think i spelled that right..) which is a kind of procedure where they remove ther hair follicles on your face, i believe. but you should google that.

but still, if you're only 12, then why worry about it?
normally upper lips should not be waxed. that area is skin is very sensitive. u can thread it like eye brows or u can apply hair removal creme but any hair removals u use, it will come back again. u may have to apply every 15 days or 3 weeks. i am doing that for my hands. but i dont have experience of upper lips. u can try hair removal ';Nair'; which is good. once u can try this, it will not harm u. if u dont like dont use next time but i think it will help.
you shouldn't get rid of it in the 1st place! i'm sure it's not THAT obvious.

I was using this nair face cream on my upper lip and it dried out my skin. It also gets red when i treat it.?

i have dry/combo skin. my aunt gave me a product that cures the redness and the pain but not the dryness. usually to cure the dryness i use vaseline. but i am constantly using it.I was using this nair face cream on my upper lip and it dried out my skin. It also gets red when i treat it.?
i would say the best thing to do is to put light weight moisturizer on the dry areas of your face. mary kay makes a really good one but you can find light weight moistirizers at any drug store by brands lik neutrogena and other skin care product manufactuersI was using this nair face cream on my upper lip and it dried out my skin. It also gets red when i treat it.?
Nair is very strong to be using on the face. You may have a chemical burn from the cream. You would need to treat it as you would treat any other kind of burn. The dead ';burned'; skin needs to fall off (don't scrub it off your face, it will make it worse). Let it exfoliate naturally. It needs to heal, and new skin will grow back. By then, the redness and dryness should alleviate itself. If it doesn't heal within an approprioate amount of time, go see a doctor. He may need to prescribe something stronger to help your skin come back to normal.

And don't use that cream on your face again. Some people are a lot more senstive than others! Good luck!
maybe your allergic to something in it.

well i smoke mariijuana so that was a problem for me. my advice is purchase some medicated lip chap or balm that way they'll lighten up. and o yea Cocoa butter has lip chap now that should do the trick.
Before going to bed, use a scrub on your lips (I usually prefer olive oil and sugar). Rinse it off. Then apply a paste of honey to keep it moisturized

only disadvantages might be the itch and smellUpper lip hair removal cream?
Unless you have super sensitive skin, nothing will happen. It's just peach fuzz :) You can get it waxed if you like. It will last longer. Just put on the cream and wipe after the stated time. No worries. If it does itch or irratate I would wash the area with warm water and not use that cream again and go for waxing. It's peach fuzz, so it's not that noticable unless it is really sunny outside.

  • Ladies, have you ever used Nair facial cream on your upper lip?

Specifically the Nair brand (but if you have used other brands and they have worked fine, as in they don't make the hair grow back thicker, then please tell me)

I was wondering if it works well... If it lets the hair grow back regular or thicker...

Thank you.Ladies, have you ever used Nair facial cream on your upper lip?
For me it works ok. But I always get a slight rash on my upper lip or I break out...Ladies, have you ever used Nair facial cream on your upper lip?
I've used Nair and other brands but seem to be sensitive to the chemicals and get all red and rashy. I've found that wax strips work the best and give the longest lasting results. The Sally Hansen ones work quite well and are relatively inexpensive. The bonus to waxing is that the more you wax the finer the hair regrowth. One tip...wax at night before you sleep so if you get a little red it's gone by morning.
STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!! Do NOT use that on your face!!!

My mom tells me that I have a MAN'S MUSTHACHE and made me use that stuff twice! Each time I used it I had the most irritating rash on my upper lip. By the time my rash went away, the hair grew back. Use some delpilatories that they sell in health food stores (and CVS sells them too). They have things like green tea extracts and are supposed to be more natural and less irritating. Good luck!
The hair does not grow back thicker, though sometimes people think so, because they are so used to not having any hair there at all. Just when you use Nair, be a little careful, because I have heard a lot of people telling me that when they use Nair on their face, it really irritates the skin.
I've never used Nair on my upper lip..because I dont have a moustache...but I have used it on my legs before. It worked really well.
    Yes, I have used it.

Dab it on with a Q-tip, only where you need it. Do not leave on longer than recommended. Wipe off with tissue, and wash area.

No, it doesn't make the hairs grow back thicker.I prefer Nair for upper lip, because there is no stubble, and plucking your upper lip is rellay painful!
I would suggest waxing. it only hurts for a few seonds. Its pretty inexpensive and lasts longer. Also, that skin is really sensitive and if you get a rash or break out it will look worse! Make sure you go to a salon you trust. Dont go to random salons.

bleaching just makes the hair really white so its not noticable. however, for lip do waxing because you can see it in the sunlight and from your side veiw very easily. bleaching is more for arms if you have dark arm hair and for the face someties, but more for forehead and such, waxing looks so much better
i think u shld wax ur upper lips.... its must better then bleaching...but if u cant take the pain ( well its not too much pain to be honest) ... then just bleach it... but by bleaching it ..u will still feel tht u hve hair.... i would totally recomment threading or waxing..

I heard this is the most non painful method to get rid of upper lip hair if skin is not very sensitive.

Will ice keep down the swelling on my lip piercing, and will antispectic cream help take down swelling?

I'm so sorry to disturb you...

  • Anti-aging lip balm/cream!?

is there any other good anti-aging lip balms/creams beside kinerase?(it's too expensive) i want one preferably with an spf AND also says something about restoring the rosy color to lips?Anti-aging lip balm/cream!?
I'd try Lavere Lip Expert Anti Ageing Lip Cream. It's completely organic and has an SPF5. After 3 weeks you will usually find that lips are 75% fuller and have 85% less wrinkles. It retails at about $40.

I would also strongly suggest purchasing a lip filler that you apply before putting on any lip makeup, which will literally fill in the wrinkles and make them almost unnoticable. The Dior lip filler is currently the best on the market (and also pricey at $57), but the effects are obviously a lot more immediate.

look online on websites for avon or arbonne. they will probably have the best most natural product for this.

Good luck!

    yes!
It would probably just burn a little bit, so dont let it get on your lips!

  • What other upper lip hair removal products are there besides cream?

i had this really good cream, but i lost it, and i can't remember where i got it from. What other upper lip hair removal products are there besides cream?
I get my eyebrows and lip waxed all the time at the salon - it might be a little painful the first time but its well worth it, depending on how fast your hair grows it could last 2 weeks, it only costs $14 for both. I also buy Nads facial wand, its like $12 at WalMart - it washes off in water, melts with your body heat, shapes to the contours of your face and it's perfect for delicate facial areas like the lip. It also heat free so you don't have to worry about burning yourself - it works wonders, just use the wand, brush it on your face apply the strips and VIOLA hair is gone!! I love it!

And it last longer than creams :]

.What other upper lip hair removal products are there besides cream?
Sally Hansen's hair removal products are sold at all drugstores %26amp; affordable. They are also mild enough not to ';eat '; your skin. You can also shave your lip too. It's a myth that if you shave , your hair will grow back '; twice as much '; if that was the case- there would be no bald men!
Go to walmart buy some wax strips... that will do the trick.
i dont recommend shaving your upper lip..i noticed that somebody suggested that...

you can use the sally hansen wax strips those seem to do the job..personally, i get my eyebrows %26amp; lip done with the thread..it is a little uncomfortable but i noticed that it lasts longer and takes off all the hair from the root...it doesnt grow back thick.so you may want to look into that.

    good luck!
try salley hansen wax or you can use bliss poetic wax; with sally hansen you need a microwave with bliss you just heat it up in a pot of water, once the water boils you remove the container and the wax remains warm.

they are simple and easy to use b/c they are stripless waxes.
Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Beauty Care What is the best eye, face, and/or lip creams you have ever used?

I am curious to know what would you recommend? I am looking for an eye cream (for slight wrinkles around and under), a face cream (for tone and moisture), and a lip moisturizer/enhancer. I am not able to afford the really pricey stuff, just products I can buy in a local store. I love to learn random beauty techinques that people do that's ';just their own'; too. :) Thanks for your time!!Beauty Care What is the best eye, face, and/or lip creams you have ever used?
Well I don't know if my reccomendations will be of any use to you because I have oily skin (dont know what skin type you have, so it may not be beneficial). But anyways, for eye creams, I use Mary Kay's Firming Eye Cream (around $40 or somethingm - but it lasts forever, I've had mine for about 2 years now and I use it almost every night) because I want that area moisturized.

For facial moisturizer,I use Mary Kay's Time Wise face moisturizer for Oily-Combo skin types ($35 or so - again, it lasts forever). For lip balm, I switch back and forth between Victoria's secret Beauty Rush lip balm ($7.50) and Mary Kay's Satin Lips lip balm ($10 I think). Sorry if my reccomendations are out of your price range, but really, they last so long, you end up saving the money.Beauty Care What is the best eye, face, and/or lip creams you have ever used?
clinique makes a great face cream, it comes in a yellow bottle and is not TOO expensive around 20-30 dollars. Lancome makes a good eye cream its called something is french but thats around 36 dollars. lip enhancers I would use sally hansons lip plumper..it really works and is only about 6 dollars.
