Does anyone know how to exfoliate lips? Without buying the special lip exfoliating creams/scrubs/glosses?

I was wondering if anyone knew any special at-home remedies for dry lips. Mine are criminally dry :O


I would invest in those exfoliating scrubs, but now isn't the right time to do it.


Also, when you exfoliate your lips, HOW EXACTLY are you supposed to do it? The thought of exfoliating my lips seems... bloody! xD...

a trick we use in the industry (i model) is that we put some vaseline on our lips, a little thicker than you would chapstick, and lightly scrape your lips with a toothbrush (not one you use daily). dont act like your brushing your teeth, just soft movements, that removes all the dead skin. you then take a tissue and wipe it all off and layer up on chapstick. we always do this before bed, because than you go to sleep and your chapstick will stay put and moisturize all night. =)Does anyone know how to exfoliate lips? Mix sugar and honey together.


Put chapstick or vaseline on your lips and then the mixture.


Move your fingertips gently in circles on your lips.





It feels gooood.


Don't do it too hard or yes, it will be bloody !
okay, take a small handful of sugar, mix it with some warm water, and scrub it gently on your lips followed by a lip balm, don't scrub too hard, though! =)
You can use an old toothbrush to scrub them.


And don't worry, it won't be bloody. xD
